Bought this for my husband for his bluray DVD's and he loves it. Colors are vivid, sound quality is good and he can watch regular DVD's a well. Product included instructions, cables, plug. He plans to take it with him on trips.

I purchased this Blu-ray player as a replacement for a brand-new one from Sylvania that failed continuously. So far this Fangor player has worked wonderfully. The picture on the ten inch screen is clear and vibrant. The controls are simple and easy to understand. The remote works well when pointed at the sensor on the front of the unit. The carrying handle is a nice design feature, absent from all other models I looked at. This unit interfaces easily with my tv as well, via an HDMI cord, and the side panel boasts all kinds of other connectivity. The ONLY mildly lacking point of the unit is the sound of the built-in speakers. While completely serviceable, the sound is very narrow, very high-midrange. But it sounds great through my quality headphones and my tv. Plus, I’m an audio producer by trade, and I may be being over-critical. Battery life on a full charge seems to be about 3.5 hours, charge time seems much quicker at about an hour. LEDs easily indicate the charging state, and the on-screen battery meter is easy to read. I am super satisfied with this unit so far! I bought it to watch new Blu-ray releases of Japanese tokusatsu shows like Ultraman, and a funny in-joke is that the company shares a name with a villain from the Johnny Sokko Japanese TV series: Fangor! So that is a plus!

While I wanted the same dvd player I had before I was hesitant to purchase a different brand. I have had this for a few months and although Im not thrilled with it. It serves it purpose but the battery life is not much to speak about. It always has to be on the charger after use. I hope to find the other unit again. I would recommend this unit for a substitute for my favorite unit.

use this on the road in my rig. so far has played everything ive put in it without a problem. video settings take a lil tweaking to get the saturation levels and colors looking good. speakers are ok i just use the 3.5mm jack. loads quick and playback is smooth. buttons work right to where if you lose the remote you can still fully use the unit.

I like this DVD player alot. It's super portable with the handle and easy to charge. With that said, the main gripe is that the move or disc that I am playing doesn't automatically start where I left off! Even when I have it set correctly and followed the directions! Also, unless you are a using a blue ray disc, it makes a loud churning noise like it's having a harder time reading the disc. For these reasons I've given it 3 stars... They just don't make them like they used to!

I've been buying used DVDs of my kids favorite old shows because our internet goes out sometimes and when it does it can be days before we have it back. The display isn't the best, it's a bit dark and there's really no adjusting for that. I've also noticed some of these shows will bounce around from streamer to streamer and I'm sick of paying exorbitant monthly fees for multiple services. He's IDD with ASD, so he will watch one show in perpetuity sometimes (it feels like), so for the price nowadays of a month of ad-free streaming (if I don't he thinks he needs to type in the name of every product that we see ads for... I'm losing my mind as it is, take my money for ad-free 😩) I can buy a season at a time of his favorites. (Or the whole series if I find it on Goodwill).

The screen resolution is great, the colors are preset very well. It is easy to use and very portable. I love that it comes with plugs to use when overseas, that will come in very handy. The battery is working great. The volume is also great and I even had to turn it down to a more comfortable level. It seems you have to point the remote at the top of the player to make it work which gets awkward in a car. I won't dodge them on stars for what I think is a failing on all portable players. They need to make one that is a side loader so I don't have to take it out of the car carrier every time to change a disk.
