Look, these sandals are blissfully comfy. They can accommodate my high insteps, which most brands do not. Plenty of arch support, straps around the big toe don’t rub, they fit my extra wide feet and very high insteps with modest adjustment to the velcro. I’m very happy with the sandal as a shoe. The color difference between product image and real life is absolutely appalling. I already returned the espresso color, because they were not the rich dark brown pictured, but a dramatically less saturated dark taupe. The teal I replaced them with are similarly less saturated, they look like stonewashed denim with a tinge of green. I’m so disappointed in the colors. I love richly saturated colors and these are not. I am knocking off a star for the color not as pictured, because they ARE blissfully comfy. ... show more

I'm super picky. I only like certain styles. I will try so many pairs before I find the comfort and level of quality I'm looking for. I did NOT want to spend this much on sandals, but after so many failed attempts, and with my feet swimming in previous brands, I was was thrilled with this pair...supportive arch, beautifully treated leather, comfortable, and they have a subtle hidden piece of velcro to adjust around the middle of your foot. I love Taos sandals and have several pairs. I have plantar fasciitis and they just work best for my feet - before finding this brand, I almost didn't wear sandals at all. This style immediately became my favorite as soon as I received them. I got the steel gray-blue color and they go with everything! It's nice to have an everyday neutral sandal that isn't brown. I have worn these twice, and I wish I could return them. They are pretty shoes. They feel great, as far as the materials go. The leather is so soft, I don't even notice having the material between my toes. I love the suede foot bed. But I walked a little bit around an outdoor mall yesterday, and ended up with purple lines at my arches where the shoes dig in. It was rubbing enough that it felt like I was getting a long blister, and I ended up going home. These shoes would only work for short trips where I'm not walking around much, which sucks because I bought these specifically because I wanted sandals I could walk in. I wish I could return them for ones without the cork foot bed. I think ones that have a smoother edge would solve the problem. I hate that I am out this money for shoes I can't really walk much in, because I've worn them twice. ... show more
