First, the bottle is garbage. It will not hold up to acetone. It would probably be fine for alcohol or witch hazel or some thing like that, but acetone will melt it. The clips do what they’re supposed to do, but only if you’re sitting perfectly still. I change my nail set every Saturday and wanted some thing that I could use to soak off my nails while still getting my housework done. They don’t work for that. The springs inside the clips aren’t very strong and the tips will easily pop off if you’re not just sitting still . The highlight of this kit are the little pads that come with it. The pads are thin enough to fit inside the clamps, but are still thick enough to hold a lot of acetone. I tried using cotton balls, but they will not in fit inside the clips . I use two of the pads on every nail and it works pretty well. I soak for about 20 minutes, then scrape the nail with a metal tool, then rewet the pads and keep repeating until the nails come off completely. It’s still a very time-consuming process and I’m still looking for better options . ... show more

Only the nail file, brush and tools are good. They feel durable and work well. The finger clamps, wipes and bottle are very cheap and not worth it. It’s good to try if you wanna do soak offs, but you’re better off to get a drill.
