Bought this for my daugher's room. After two days of use, it started spewing black chunks of dust or grime out of the cooling events. She showed it to me before cleaning it off. I offered to get her a new one but she wants to see if this product works as advertised before discarding it. I am more skeptical, but will give her some time to make a final decision. I do plan to review the operating instructions in detail to see if I can find out what happened. Perhaps she did something wrong. Will update this review as needed. Update: the interior is covered with black soot. This item is getting thrown out tonight.

Its good, with a major but... it really only works in non humid areas. For my people in the southern us I'm sorry. Also The item was received in a timely manner and in good condition another major but.... Just the other day the item lost a screw or plug in the area just above the filter causing all the water I put in to leak out on my carpet. Similar to what others say. I would say good buy for most just be wary of that screw or plug above the air filter.

This device is pretty much what I expected it to be. It doesn't drop the temperature in the room, but the cool breeze from the fan is very comfortable when sitting near it. The fan noise-level is very soothing, good white noise if you are reading, napping or on computer. It is easy to use, and the price is fair. One drawback is emptying the water chamber - you either have to disconnect the chamber in the back or tilt the whole unit to get the water out when changing over.

Got it a month ago... dunno why, maybe the pump's busted but it's a noisy beast 🥴 Feels like all the water will be leaking, doesn't cool the room, its more like a fan EXPENSIVE 😒 Oh, and the water smells like stagnant water after a day. The whole thing's cheap and noisy (and the pump's even louder!), I couldn't return it 'cause I tossed the box... DON'T buy it....

Worst purchase ever, started to break down and leak really bad right after the return window. Now I'm down like $140 and stuck with this piece of junk. Please don't buy and look for something else.
