I purchased this single serve coffee maker for $60 in March 2023 & have used it daily since. I chose it specifically for the 'Bold' brew option & the lack of a water reservoir. When I first started using it I would carefully fill it to the 10 or 12 oz line; after going through the bold brew, I'd have a weak & barely warm cup of coffee. I meant to return it but summertime arrived & I got too busy being out on the lake lol! At some point I started filling it with the max amount of water (to fill my oversized pottery mug) & it began working great - my coffee is strong & super hot each day! No idea if it has anything to do with the water level but that's the only thing I've done differently. So even though I paid significantly more for this coffee maker than its current list price, I still think it deserves 5 stars. ... show more

I am coming off the Keurig Mini. I love my Kuerig mini but decided to try another brand next time. The Famiworth is good so far. Yes it feels more plastic and lightweight than the Keurig, obviously there are quality differences in material used. I have tried both the regular and bold settings and the bold setting actually works, I prefer it. On regular setting coffee is too light. Bold setting makes a yummy bold coffee. Makes coffee as hot as my Keurig, it might be even hotter. I am excited to try the filter they provide to use with coffee grounds, if it works well I will be able to save some money not having to use coffee pods. I love the light green color, it almost matches the color of my Keurig that I am in love with. The measurement inside the machine is wrong. The 8 ounces, which I use, in this machine is more like 9-10 ounces. I have provided a picture of where the water sits at when actually filled to 8 ounces. Update: September 5, 2023 Bugs get into the water reservoir. I ran the machine without coffee so I could get hot water for a tea bag and a spider came out. Next morning before I made my coffee I ran hot water through it again and a gnat came out. I knew bugs might be getting into it because I saw a gnat crawl into the side of one of the buttons. I have no idea how many bugs and spiders I have been drinking since I got this machine. I really don’t want to get a Keurig again but the Keurig is pretty bug proof, I always ran hot water for tea and never had a bug come out. ... show more

Works well, great price. as other reviewers have noted, I use a gravy seperator to fill it easily ,as not to spill water all over. Also as reviewed it has trouble with punching the top hole in pods with foil & cellophane laminated tops. punches through the foil but not always the cellophane if the 2 delaminate. I've taken to opening up the lid after closing it on the top, the foil is pierced ,I use an ice pick to push through that hole and pierce the the second layer. Being able to use the pod and not make a mess. I've only had this problem with one brand of coffee so far (Martinson,s). Other than that very happy with it. ... show more

I ordered this to replace another one cup coffee brew pot that quit working. This product matched the description. I use ground coffee in the reusable filter., I can make small or large cup of coffee, and unlike my last coffee maker, this one has a self clean feature. Yay! It has a slimline profile, fit nicely in the space , and of course the coffee was hot and tasty! The brew basket looks sturdy, the exterior is plastic. I think it’s shelf life will be short compared to the metal coffee pot we grew up with.,but I give it 4 overall : convenient easy to clean and operate, delivers a tasty cuboid coffee in @ 2 minutes. ... show more

My product is still brand new, but so far I like it. The coffee is hot and tastes great. Two minor details: it's a bit noisy, and if I don't use a tall mug the coffee tends to splatter outside of the mug a bit when the coffee is dispensing. Not terribly messy, just splatters that will wipe up easily. If I'm not using a tall mug, I can prop my regular mug on top of something to get it closer to where the coffee dispenses to avoid the splatters. But overall I'm satisfied and I'm enjoying the coffee it makes. ... show more

Bought this coffee maker for my husband to use while I was out of town so he wouldn’t have to make a large pot of coffee. Since he only drinks one or two cups in the morning, it was easy and efficient for him to use. The coffee comes out nice and hot. It is easy to clean. And both the k-cup and coffee filter options work very well. With cold weather coming, this will be a good option for a mid-afternoon warm-up cup. ... show more

We purchased this coffee maker so that our renters would have an easy way to make K-cup coffee. I personally do not care for the "flavorless" K-cup coffee, but gave this machine a chance since it offered a large ,DIY basket for your own coffee. The basket is much larger than the typical K-cup so you can actually get the strength and flavor of more traditional brewing machine. I was a little hesitant in purchasing this product. I did my research but still wasn’t sure. Boy oh boy, I was so thankful that I took the chance and ordered this coffee maker.
