Famiware star dinnerware sets plates and bowls set of 4 12 piece dish set ribbed Nebulas Blue. Food grade, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, lead free, space saving and scratch resistant. These arrived like-new and undamaged with lots of padding. We opted for the added extra box instead of shipping in just the regular one. My husband and I have been using the same plain Jane melamine dinnerware set for the last 6 years. I’ve been dreaming about this set since I discovered the famiware brand but have been saving up. Since it was on sale for Black Friday my hubby decided to surprise me with it for an early Christmas present. I’m so glad he got it!! It’s beautiful!!! I’m in love lol. Because of the reactive glaze, each one is slightly different in person. Which means, if you are perfectionist, you might be unhappy with this set, fyi. Some plates are visibly darker or lighter than others, etc. but I don’t mind it at all. Personally I love the uniqueness! The only negative thing I could say is I noticed some preexisting scuffs on the bottom of one of the plates during unboxing. It’s a little annoying if you look close, but not enough to really cause a problem. So far we’re loving them. They’ve held up to the dishwasher and don’t heat up in the microwave. Only the food gets hot! So refreshing! I’ve sliced some food on one plate with a sharp knife and it didn’t scratch. I was curious how the bowls would be in person. They’re a good size, not too deep or too wide. They fit soups and pasta dishes but help with portion control as they’re smaller than my old ones(but I like that!) If I wanted a size-up I could always order their pasta bowls. Also, I like the ribbing. It isn’t too deep or obnoxious but enough that you can feel it slightly and it helps with gripping/holding the plates. So far we are thrilled with this lovely dinnerware set and hope it lasts us a long time. I will update here in the future if I have anything else to add.

While I haven't used these yet, they seem to be good quality. They were extremely well packaged. We joked "its a box inside of another box, inside of another box", but it really was. Not a chip on any of them. They are lighter than I expected being stoneware but no less functional. There are a few blemishes from making but I think it gives them more character. Very rustic design that goes well with my kitchen. LOVE!

The pictures are accurate, but the pattern name ‘Cappuccino White’ is misleading. The dishes are actually light blue with beige rims, not white as the name suggests. The color wasn’t what I expected, but that was on me - I went back to the listing and realized the photos do represent the color correctly. Just a heads-up if you’re relying on the name alone. That said, I decided to keep them and really like their design - modern yet rustic - as well as their quality. They were packaged exceptionally well. I am going to order pasta bowls in the same pattern.

I ordered this set alongside the 4x Pasta Bowl set and I am beyond myself with joy. It’s weird how going from 20-26 you develop an intense love for things like curtain rods, bath mats, and- of course- dish ware. The coating feels durable while maintaining a glamorous style, tying in with the gorgeous colors. I mentioned this in my Pasta Bowl review, but each piece really has its own sense of character! The color is pretty uniform across the board but there is a level of variance that makes each piece feel unique. Unlike my pasta bowls, each piece here settles perfectly into one another, making the stack feel orderly and uniform- my favorite part! These dishes feel whole, robust, and satisfyingly sturdy for the price point. The coating so far has remained intact, which has helped remove my worries about scratching. It is possible, just not with regular wear and tear- unless you have kiddos. Then I’m not sure, but I trust them! Overall? Beyond satisfied. Gorgeous, well made, and utilitarian. If these are qualities you value, you’ll be happy with this dish set.

This is my second set of these fabulous dishes. We have two homes and I have the blue sets in o e and the cream colored new in the other. Love them!! Great size, love the rims on the plates. Love that the sets include only plates, dessert plates and bowls. We are a family that loves our individual tastes in coffee mugs, and I specifically did not want new dishes with matching coffee mugs or cups. These are gorgeous. Very happy with these purchases!

I think they look fantastic. Unfortunately, I have found that my set chips far too easily. I don't know if it's a weakness in the manufacturing of mine in particular, or the product in general - but almost immediately a small clash caused at least two to chip. Never experienced this fragility with other dish sets.
