Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought these, washed them, put them up and never used them until almost a year later. We do a lot of pastas and Mexican food in our house. We had had things stain from the red sauces we homemade and had to throw a lot of things out so with these plates being the color they are, I was scared to use them. I can say I recently used a plate to heat up a microwave pasta meal that had marinara sauce in it. Normally those would stain a clear/cream/white anything when heated up, but not these! It even sat and cooled off on the plate, and some of it was even burnt on the plate. I was afraid it was going to stain it, but I took the warm water, rinsed the plate off and it looks just like it did before! No stains! This made me fall in love with them. Oh and another amazing things about these are they literally do not burn your fingers off when you heat them in the microwave. I was cautious about getting it out after heating the meal up for 5 minutes and I was shocked when I touched it and it was cool! then 6 more minutes with half the power and same thing! I love being able to get something out after heating and it not burn me!

Famiware star dinnerware sets plates and bowls set of 4 12 piece dish set ribbed Nebulas Blue. Food grade, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, lead free, space saving and scratch resistant. These arrived like-new and undamaged with lots of padding. We opted for the added extra box instead of shipping in just the regular one. My husband and I have been using the same plain Jane melamine dinnerware set for the last 6 years. I’ve been dreaming about this set since I discovered the famiware brand but have been saving up. Since it was on sale for Black Friday my hubby decided to surprise me with it for an early Christmas present. I’m so glad he got it!! It’s beautiful!!! I’m in love lol. Because of the reactive glaze, each one is slightly different in person. Which means, if you are perfectionist, you might be unhappy with this set, fyi. Some plates are visibly darker or lighter than others, etc. but I don’t mind it at all. Personally I love the uniqueness! The only negative thing I could say is I noticed some preexisting scuffs on the bottom of one of the plates during unboxing. It’s a little annoying if you look close, but not enough to really cause a problem. So far we’re loving them. They’ve held up to the dishwasher and don’t heat up in the microwave. Only the food gets hot! So refreshing! I’ve sliced some food on one plate with a sharp knife and it didn’t scratch. I was curious how the bowls would be in person. They’re a good size, not too deep or too wide. They fit soups and pasta dishes but help with portion control as they’re smaller than my old ones(but I like that!) If I wanted a size-up I could always order their pasta bowls. Also, I like the ribbing. It isn’t too deep or obnoxious but enough that you can feel it slightly and it helps with gripping/holding the plates. So far we are thrilled with this lovely dinnerware set and hope it lasts us a long time. I will update here in the future if I have anything else to add.

These are GORGEOUS! We got them from our wedding registry in November and have been using them every day since. There is a little variation on each of these, so I did send a few back to make it a bit more uniform and they were great with getting more pieces back to me. They have a nice weight to them, but they aren't too heavy. I use them every day and I get compliments on them when we have people over.

Beautiful nice plates, used it for Passover and enhanced the entire holiday, 1 problem is that 1 plate got chipped before using it, (not sure If it arrived so,, or was my fault) that made it uncompleted, but I did indeed enjoy the rest.
