Note added: One huge flaw...These dishes are designed in New York, but like so many other things, are actually made in China, which seems to be a dirty little secret, since you cannot find any reference to this until you have a piece of the dishware in your hands and look at the underside. I was a bit put off when I received a strange, quite negative message from the company stating if I had a complaint or noticed any flaws when the dishes arrived, I should contact them right away. I'd noticed a few reviews were negative and remarked re flaws, but liked the look of this set too much to worry. The dishes I received are so pretty, were packed flawlessly, and had maybe a couple really teeny tiny, subtle spots I can't even call imperfections. I doubt anyone else will ever notice them, since the dishes are so attractive. I got them to replace a set of Corelleware I decided were just too lightweight and not my style and an old, old set of Fiestaware I love except for the heavy weight, which is way too much now for my old hands. This dish set is perfect for me. I love the pale green color. It's classy and comfortable❣️I do NOT, however, appreciate Famiware's and Amazon's seeming collusion in not mentioning "made in China."

I really like this product. I needed extra setting for my Thanksgiving Day dinner table. The set I bought at Macy's several years ago was extremely expensive but this Famiware set blends perfectly and at a reasonable price. I bought the color green which is very similar to what I already have. I am very pleased with my purchase.
