My mom is in assisted living, she LOVES being kept up to date with family, she nor the assisted living staff are "techy", (she does not use a cell phone or computer). Our family has purchased several other brands of digital frames, they all needed wifi, confusing set up, confusing apps to send pictures, no one wanted to use. THIS frame does NOT need wifi, (uses cell transmission without needing to set up an account and FREE), this is the ONLY frame we have found that is truly "plug and play", you literally plug it in, input the frames access code in your cell phone and begin sending pictures that show up nearly instantly in the frame! EVERY member of our family was using it from all over the country in minutes, it is truly incredible!! Pro's you can send messages you can send pictures you can "like" the pictures from the frame (notifies the recipient of the "like" plug it in and works over cell network in minutes no new cell account, Literally "plug it in and it works" easy app to send pictures pictures show up within a minute of sending con's you can only send 10 pictures a day (24 hours) power cord is kind of short sometimes the pictures stop "rotating" need to touch to restart So happy we found this frame we are going to buy 2 more!!

My grandmother always felt she was out of the loop with photos. She doesn’t have internet, social media, or smart phone! Obviously she is not tech savvy but this was more than easy for her. It was easy purchase and install- powered by 3G she didn’t need internet and she could just plug in and go. It does turn off at night but that was no big deal. Sharing photos was easy for the whole family by app or email. You could also send messages. She loved it.

This is a great digital picture frame for a very specific situation, no available WiFi. My Dad is very old-school. He doesn't have or even need WiFi. I bought this because he lives a ways away from me and I wanted him to have pictures of us, the kids, and the grandkids more than just when we visit a few times a year. This frame is the perfect solutions. The frame is big enough and has enough resolution to display the pictures well. It also has options to turn on and off at specific times so it doesn't shine a light at night and keep him awake. It even shows weather warnings for his area which is something that I did not expect. The app could use a little work. It has basic photo editing with the most useful being crop, rotate and overlaying a caption. It could use a few more tools. My main gripe is when I am in the gallery and choose the wrong picture I have to hit the back button which you would think would take you back to the gallery but it actually takes you all the way back to the app's home screen. This is minor but it does get a little irritating. It also limits your uploads via cellular to 10 pictures per day as stated in a few other reviews. This is minor for day to day use but it really extends the amount of time you have to spend preloading the frame. I could have connected to WiFi at my house and loaded it up before I took it to my Dad but I had some time before I was going to see him again and I wanted to get a feel for the interface. I highly recommend this frame if you want to share your memories with loved ones who don't have access to WiFi.

Unable to visit on a regular basis, we wanted a simple way to share picture with my non-tech-savi Grandmother. I activated it and sent it to her to plug in and she's been enjoying and "like"ing the families pictures ever since. BIG smiles all around. On the upside, we're all able to see the pics shared so it's like a private social circle for the family. REALLY impressed with the quality and operation of the frame. SO nice to have a product that doesn't require her to have Wi-Fi. It just works!

The cellular data worked brilliantly out of the box. The setup was fairly simple. I'm not happy with the quality of the "compressed" images on the device. Some look a bit grainy to me and there's no adjustment for how much the images are compressed. If there was something better out there, I'd probably buy it instead but this one but if you want to place a digital frame where there's not wifi, this is it. Also, only allows you to email one photo at a time unlike some of the others.

My grandma loves it. Works really good with the cell service. Only the first three months of cell service are free. It’s about $8 a month after that. The app and website have all been pretty easy to use.

This has been the perfect gift for my non-tech savvy 93-year-old mother. She loves seeing the pictures and nothing is required from her other than to look at the frame. She previously had an earlier version that has become obsolete due to it being on a 3G network. As I have transitioned pictures from her old frame to the new one, I have had to contact Familink customer support several times. Each time, they responded very quickly. This has been one of her favorite gifts of all time.
