I bought a pair of those to make my cameras higher - the dolly itself and the reduced angle of the tripod legs added slightly under a foot of height - roughly what I needed. Never used as a dolly, but it made tripods easier to move around. The problem is - the mechanism that holds the tripod legs is pretty flimsy, if your tripods are heavy, or you plan heavy use - this product won't live very long. The question is, is it worth 48 dollars? I'd probably add some money and buy something sturdier. But if your tripods are light and you plan on using very seldom - it's fine.

I do not know where to begin, just WOW! I have a telescope that is on the bigger side. It is pretty old, and during the winter it is quite in the way of getting to the cables and other stuff in the corner. So, every time I need to get in that corner (which is surprisingly very often), I have to carefully lift the telescope and then put it back in place once I am done. Very annoying. So, when I saw this dolly, I could not believe that something like this exists! It had absolutely everything that I was looking for. So, I had to get it and see if it works for what I had in mind. It completely changed my life :-D One, I just have to unlock one wheel now and use 2 fingers to get the telescope out of the way. Could not be easier than that. Two, the wheels are super silent, and “soft”. It is very soothing to roll the dolly around (I spent one afternoon doing just that for half an hour). Works on the carpet as well as it works on hardwood floors. Three, I love that the dolly folds and that it comes with a bag. At this particular moment, I use it to hold my telescope, but once the summer comes, I am planning on getting my telescope, camera and the camera tripod out. So, everything being portable makes my life much easier. Four, the locking mechanism where the tripod legs come is fantastic. It keeps the legs firmly in place, and extendable design makes it adaptable to different tripods. I love this dolly so much that I would give it 100 * if I could.
