The sleeves are weird, they are bell shaped and short. I am keeping the coat because the fit is perfect but will take coat to a tailor to make some sleeve adjustments.

I’m 5’6”, size 12, 175ish, bought a size large. The first thing I noticed was where the sleeves hit- about 3” short of where most coats would. Then there’s the pockets- about 6-8” higher than appropriate for comfortable use. I probably needed a XL. With a thick sweater it was on the snug side, but L is as large as it goes. Other than that, nice weight and quality, lined, and cute if worn open and don’t need the pockets!

This is a nice lightweight coat. Not perfect, but definitely acceptable. The description says it should fall mid-calf. I am 5'8" and the length is a couple of inches below my knee. When I first opened the coat and tried it on, the sleeves seemed quite short. Cropped sleeves were not mentioned in the description so I didn't know if this was an intentional style feature. After leaving the coat on a hanger for a couple of days and then re-trying it on, it seemed as though the sleeves were at a more appropriate length. I know that I will be able to get some good use out of this basic black coat during the fall and early days of winter.
