These blinds are awesome. Although they are not actually blinds, I would definitely buy these again and plan to in a couple of weeks. They are absolutely blackout, and removable. It comes with two sets, so I gave a set to a friend and she is impressed as well. the only negative thing I would mention is the velcro dots, they seem really sticky but fall off in a couple of hours. I read this on the reviews before my purchase so I also ordered command velcro and have not had an issue. If you are on the fence about purchasing, go ahead. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends

So the product does exactly what it says on the tin. The fabric is completely opaque and very thin so its light and easy to work with. Very easy to cut with with scissors as well. but instead of sawing away with the scissors, make your first cut, then with the scissors about half way open, just drag across the fabric and you will have a nice clean and straight cut. WARNING: So there is one problem, sort of a problem, that you need to be aware of. When you cut the material you should ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES. Why? Because the cut ends of the fabric shed tiny particles that get stuck in your skin. You can even seen them but you know they are there as they itch. If you have ever worked with carbon fiber fabric or fiberglass, the effect is similar. I believe I got 'stuck' when I picked up a pile of trimmings to take to the garbage. I am writing this 24 hours later and I still have a few itches. Would I still buy this product? Absolutely, and you should too. Just wear some latex or nitrile gloves if you are trimming it or handling the cuttings.

I ordered mine and that are amazing. They work great with in 5 mins of one window covered we noticed the difference. I would totally buy this product again. These blackout curtains made the room completely dark after being installed. Easy to install and you cut to fit the size of your windows.

The media could not be loaded. The blackout abilities on this product are amazing! The material was easy to cut. However, I gave three stars because of the sheer amount of times I’ve have to re-hang this thing up! Nothing sticks to the material! The Velcro that came included stuck to my window well but not to the material. I’ve used double sided tape, scotch tape, packing tape, and finally duct tape. The duct tape seems to do the best job BUT I also had to end up putting long strips of it to get it to stay. It will fall down at the most random times, we finally realize when our child wakes too early from his naps consistently . It is not fun righting the tape, the material, and our blinds to get it back up If they can get one of the sides to stick better, it definitely would be a 5 star review!

I saw the reviews and everyone complained about the velcro are not strong enough during a hot day. The material feels similar for those thin windshields reflectors that most people use on their cars. It says 3 layers but I only see 2 layers, but it still stops sunlight/wind going through it. Took me 10 minutes to cut/install per window mainly because I installed them differently to avoid problems with the velcro in the summer. I still kept my blinds just incase I wanna go back and forth with the amount of sunlight in my room. I'll update this review another day to see how my room feels during hot weather, but for now, I do feel slightly cooler room after 30 mins installing it. For the price, to be honest. 2 sets for $30 is actually not that bad.

Kept the room very dark and it was easy to install and use, but I installed it on a south-facing window and the velcro pads would detach from the window because of the heat. I think the adhesive would melt and that would cause the pad on the window would detach and stay attached to the velcro on the shade. Make sure you measure the window and the shade perfectly to make sure you cut it to the correct size! This would probably be better for a temporary solution or a window that doesn't get quite as much sun as mine.
