I got these when the OEM camo plates were in limited supply. Didn't really expect them to be good but was pleasantly surprised by the fit and the quality. The cooling vents are very helpful in improving airflow to keep the PS5 cool. Good plates for the price, overall.

These plates seem to be made from the same material and quality as the ones that come on a PS5. The ONLY gripe I could see anyone having is there's no PS logo in the upper corner. But no one is coming over and looking at your console for the logo, lol. At the price, it's a great deal. The plate snaps on the exact same way as then brand ones, as a matter of fact, these have a vent right over the fan which in my opinion puts them above the brand ones. This product looks not so great as the color is just solid black and the black center on the PS5 makes the whole system just a black area and hard to even see. This an all PS5 cover plates can be tricky to put on and tack off. These broke the hooks when trying to take off. I would not recommend this product. ... show more

If I'm not mistaken, the PS5 shells were already designed to have optimal airflow. I think by introducing additional holes, you may disrupt that rathe than actually improving things. Not only that, this opens up the console to have more open points for dust to get in. While I love the vibrant color that seems to be the same as the Nova pink official one, I'm a bit conflicted on the design choice. Don't think it was necessary. ... show more

I ordered this faceplate because I wanted to keep PS5 cool and also have that sleek black look. The plastic and material used is very sturdy and not flimsy at all. I love the functionality of the cooling vent in the faceplate. I don't know why Sony didn't have that for the stock plates. Removal of the plates can be frustrating, and the instructions are very.. basic. A bit too basic. I would recommend watching a 'how-to' video online just in case, to avoid damage to any of the PS5. The faceplate overall was exact to the stock dimensions, high quality, and was very snug and installed amazingly, no wiggly plates here. ... show more

The choices of colors to pick for these case plates made it hard to choose from; I chose this neon pink. I like the vibrancy and the pop of color it added to my television stand. This was my first time changing the case on my PS5 and it was easy. While I had them off I cleaned the fans of the dust they had collected; I hope that the vents on these plates make it easy to use canned air to clean the fans without having to remove the plates. I surprisingly like this item. I bought it to have a different skin that the original white that came with my PS5. It snaps on really well and it was easy to install. It makes my PS5 look like a completely different device. I would definitely recommend this case. I'm going to look for other colors and designs as well. ... show more
