For the price, this is one of the better middle of the road Adult e-bikes out there. Easy partial assembly (comes mostly assembled), slick look, feel, and operation: nothing feels like cheap imported parts (although I'm sure some parts are imported of course). Compared to some of the e-bikes that are equally priced, this is a good purchase that I do not regret. The electric power maxes out at 20 but will go another 15 or 20 if you follow the adjustment that removes the computerized governor on the throttle company will give to you post purchase (they follow through). 35 on this will feel like 45-50 on a motorcycle because it's naturally smaller than a motorcycle or motorbike/dirtbike, but with the solid construction of heavier bike... Heavy, sturdy construction makes it safe along with very excellent features like a headlamp, taillight, brake light, rear turn signals, over-sized tires, front and rear suspension, good Shimano disc brakes on front and rear, 7 gears for manual pedaling. A SLEAK looking ride, too, with a classic motorbike fork and comfortable wide, long saddle. Love the looks of the red model but liked the orange seat better, which btw can seat a rear, second rider if needed depending on size and weight of both riders. Because of the suspension, tires and frame, it provides a very smooth ride on pavement - I have not taken it off road yet, but i am assuming by the build I just described, it should do very well in any conditions. Motor is very quiet, responsive disc brakes (note: be careful especially when traveling at higher speeds - the disc brakes are excellent but 35-40 is fast on a bicycle... definitely meant for adults or riders over 16). My ONLY COMPLAINT: Head lamp connection is not sturdy, comes loose easily. That can be fixed with some simple rewiring though. Basically, street legal in most states whereas there are gas propelled bikes that top out at lesser speeds that are technically not street approved simply because of their CC size. PAS (peddle assist) is great, but you can just use the battery if you want and never flinch a muscle! The pedal assist is awesome for taking off though, especially uphill - again, 7 gears. Easy to use controls and interactive control / display screen. Comes with two FOB keys to lock and unlock the screen (which locks the motor). Comes with two standard keys for the giant battery that holds a lot of power which you can ride without if you don't plan on using the engine (making the bike much lighter) or simply take off for easier charging or security. Comes with a cable lock (I still recommend a u lock however). 5 different "assist" levels depending on how much you want to pedal, a lot to none and in between. Battery has its own power switch as well and a USB jack to charge your phone. Also comes with some nice extras like a phone mount, a "console" style bag that straps right behind the fork/in front of the seat that has a place to slide and display your phone in and will fit a cable lock along with keys (and keys for the bike) and/or your wallet, etc. Other extras include a bike pump which is handy if you don't have a compressor (if not I suggest purchasing a small portable sized compressor, but a bike pump will get the job done - tires are 20 PSI so purchase a gauge if you don't have one as the bike pump does not have a pressure gauge) The display has Bluetooth capabilities which I have yet to check out. Comes with paper manual and a few other goodies like sunglasses made for riding with 5 or so different shields with a carrying pouch, etc. All in all, 4.5 stars out of 5. ... show more
