When I first used it, it was GREAT!!! Then it began to have a different texture and started to leave white residue. After I wiped out the different texture, it was back to new. So I would suggest making sure water doesn't get near it AT ALL!! So completely DRY your hands before applying. It kept my edges under control for about 8 hours. I love this stuff. Don't know why it isn't more popular. It doesn't turn white and it holds natural hair/weave braids in place for weeks. I don't wear baby hair so I can't speak on that

This is the only product I have found that holds my edges down without making my hair hard. I usually buy 2 jars at a time so I won’t run out. I have 4c coolly hair and if really works.
