So my mother has had her Christmas tree for the last 27 years and this stand she’s had as she said is irreplaceable because it worked and she trusted it with her very obviously valued tree. My puppy had run into it playing with her older dog we think and the stand finally cracked. (I don’t believe the stand it that old but it’s up there for sure lol) this is the only replica stand we could find and my mother swears by it!! I bought it after Christmas hoping it would’ve been a little less expensive, but it’ll do!

We bought this stand for a 4.5 foot artificial tree to assure stability on top of a chest. There's a small collar to screw into the top once the trunk is installed. Although the tree came with a spread-legged stand, this is much sturdier. Two screws, very easy to "assemble."

The toddler was continually pulling over the tree, and this base stopped him. The artificial tree that had belonged to my grandmother fit in it easily. We have saved it next year and do not expect any problems with durability.

After 8 years, my artificial tree finally cracked. The 3 little pieces that made up the built-in stand just broke off. So I was out of a Xmas tree on Dec 5. Not knowing they made artificial tree stands, I searched the internet for a regular tree stand that might accommodate an artif tree pole. I thought I could just adjust a reg tree stand to hold the pole so I almost bought a universal tree stand. Then I came across this EZ ARTIFICIAL TREE STAND #119. I measured my tree pole (1.5 inches diameter) & it fit the stand so I ordered it. Its my best buy of the year: fits my (Wal-Mart) artif tree perfectly & I believe the tree is actually more stable with this stand then with its orig built-in stand (I have cats, so Im very pleased.) As other reviewers have mentioned, the stand directions are on the backside of the label so be careful when you peel it off. All you need to do is put your tree pole in the little hole adapter piece & screw it into the tree stand, easy. So if you have an artif tree (with a 1.5 pole diameter), do yourself a favor & buy this stand, youll need it sooner or later. Thanks again, Amazon.

Purchased this in 2015 as my original stand broke. Description says it accommodates a 1.25" diameter pole, which is what my tree has (according to the description on the box my tree came in from the manufacturer). Unfortunately, something doesn't fit quite right. When I put the plastic piece around the pole of the tree and then try to put the pole into the hole on the base, it won't fit. So, for the last 2 seasons, we adjusted - putting that piece on upside down so that it sticks above the hole in the base but is still screwed down (couldn't use at all without screwing that plastic piece down in some direction). Unfortunately, since everything, except the screws is plastic, this season my tree started leaning and I am, again, needing to purchase a replacement tree stand.

This is a great tree stand. We have a 7 1/2 foot tree whose cheap stand was being held together with duck tape. With a new kitten in the house we knew we would be picking the tree up off the floor many times if we didn't find something sturdier. This fit the bill. While the tree is a little wobbly due to it's height, age and our uneven floors, it hasn't toppled over at all even with our furbaby's climbing it numerous times a day. Without this stand I'm sure the tree would already be back in the closet. The pole fit perfectly into the base and the screws into the base make it solid on the floor. I'm sure this stand will last us many years.

I see many people stating this stand fits their artificial tree. I have a brand new 6 foot tree we purchased at K-mart. The stand that came with it appeared flimsy since I have 2 kittens who are only 8 months old. I wanted something wider and more sturdy. The base of my tree is smaller than the opening and looks much like the one shown in the picture. There are no other instructions that explain how to make it fit tighter on a smaller pole and so I put the tree back in original stand. I was so hoping this would have worked.

We received a used artificial tree from my parents as a gift. It was missing one leg out of the stand though. So it was difficult to try to create a makeshift stand out of what we had. After the cat knocked the tree down one morning I decided enough was enough. The stand is easy to assemble and keeps the tree nice and steady. There is a little slot to string the lights through, however I don't think it was necessary. Still it kept our tree up throughout the holiday season.
