  • Great value with a ton of features
This jacket contains a ton of features for the price that you're paying. I'm 5'10, 190 lbs. My suit coat is normally a 42R, and my shirt arm lengths are 34". I bought a large one, and it fits perfectly. Like another reviewer said if you need to layer, and I don't believe anyone should need to, you might have to go up a size, but I find the jacket to be pretty warm. I wanted to try something new, so I went with the blue color. I would call it more like an electric blue. It's pretty bright, but it's nice. I own several name-brand jackets that have cost me a lot of money in the past, and I could easily be just as fine wearing this one. All of the zippers are super smooth, and ALL of the seams are taped. It has everything you want in a ski jacket, in fact, I was trying to figure out what it doesn't have, and I couldn't think of anything. The outer fabric feels durable and thick. It has a hood that would easily go over your helmet. It has pit zips (taped as well), plenty of pockets, adjustable cuffs, a chest loop for gloves, an adjustable snow skirt with grippers etc. They pretty much list every feature pretty well. Seriously makes me wonder how the more well-known name-brands can charge so much with less features. With all that being said, I haven't worn it that long since I've only had it for a few weeks. Also, the pits are a little short for me, but it doesn't restrict my movement, and it's not a deal breaker. Also, I think their sizing chart is a little weird. When I use their measurements, I'm like an extra small, but I knew better, which is why I started with my measurements. These are all minor things though. Tough to be this price, though. If you're looking for a quality jacket at a great price, you seriously can't go wrong. I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Fits well. Well made. Great bang for your buck
Size: X-Large Color: Black
I have a few ski/snowboard jackets (Burton, 686, Spyder, etc) and have paid way more for them than I paid for this jacket. It hasn't been cold enough here yet to speak on the warmth factor but the jacket is definitely waterproof. I haven't gotten to test it out in a long downpour but in a few heavy rains, as well as a shower test, water ran right off of it. I stayed dry as a bone. I have been a solid XL for years and this jacket fits well enough on its own but with enough room to layer over a fleece or sweatshirt if you need without constricting movement. The inner neck/collar material is a nice touch... kind of like velvet. all of the stitching is on point, no loose threads. All of the exterior zippers are covered/coated to keep snow and water out. The pit zips are nice. A couple of wishes I would like to see to take it to the next level but are no way deal breakers... Maybe line the L/R hand pockets with the same material as the collar, add rubber tab on the Velcro sleeve closures to make it easier to close with gloves on, and although the powder skirt can be adjusted so that it is barely noticeable, on some jackets I have it can be removed, plus maybe one extra interior stash pocket. Although this jacket doesn't have ALL the bells and whistles of a $300 jacket it punches way above its price and will get you through some serious sessions on the slopes (or snowball fights) and keep you very dry and comfortable without breaking the bank. Loaded with features... total bang for your buck. ... show more

  • Great for price
Size: X-Large Color: Black
I read the review on this jacket prior to buying and they were all great. I was still skeptical for the price. It showed up, I was amazed with the quality for the price. The size is slightly large but perfect if you wanna wear a hoodie under it. 10/10 worth the purchase. It’s early comparable to $300+ jackets. Will recommend and purchase again ... show more

  • No hanging strap?!?
Size: X-Large Color: Black
I like the jacket! It fits me perfectly and it’s very comfortable. But… after talking it off I tried to hang it on a hook, and to my surprise there wasn’t a hanging strap. I looked all over the jacket, front and back: no hanging strap! So what am I to do? Keep it on the floor when it’s wet from rain?!? Hang it on a chair?!? The other issue is that the two hand pockets are only for hands. They are way too shallow to keep anything in them besides your hands. If you forget and store something in them, you’ll lose it because it’ll fall off. Those pockets are only for keeping your hands warm. One last thing is it doesn’t have an elastic adjustment cord for tightening the bottom of the jacket around the thighs. However, for a $50 jacket I can live with that, I guess. ... show more

  • Great features, a little heavy
Size: X-Large Color: Blue
Many pockets and features like the under arm vents. Love the bright light kobalt blue color. I wish the hood was detachable and that the fabric would be a little lighter. It’s a pretty heavy jacket. I noticed the pockets aren’t as deep as in my old jacket, so I make sure to close the zipper to secure the content. Other reviews noticed and mentioned the low quality zippers. Hopefully they will hold up. They don’t seem to be the sturdiest but ok so far. ... show more

  • Well designed features.
This coat is really well designed. My normal size is a large and this large fits me perfect. Enough room for a base later and a jacket underneath. It’s not the thickest coat but that’s good by me. I’d rather layer up so a little thinner is better. Zippers are sealed. Nice pocket on sleeve for ski pass. Snaps to connect to your ski pants. Also the hood tightens with enough room for my helmet. Really well designed jacket. I’ll comment later on quality after I’ve used it but the seams all look well sewn. Solid quality jacket. UPDATE: one area of negative feedback on this jacket is that the pockets aren’t very deep. They barely fit my iPhone 12 mini. Also, they feel a bit uncomfortable for my hands when I place them in the pockets. Small annoyance, but real. UPDATE 2: I wore this skiing and everything worked great…except the sleeves are a bit too short for me and when I tried using the thumb holes to keep my sleeves down, I couldn’t reach far at all before the sleeves became too tight. Not a big deal, I just didn’t (and generally don’t) use the thumb holes. The bigger issue is the sleeves could be 1-2 inches longer. If you have shorter arms, no problems. ... show more
