Description

Extreme Max designed this deluxe kit to give you the gear you need to store or transport your bike safely. We've included our sleek, stable, and solid steel wheel chock. We love this chock because one person can safely and easily secure the motorcycle without tipping - simply drive your bike onto the chock and the rear wheel cradle will lock the front wheel in place. It's is designed to take up minimal room on the mounting surface while providing maximum stability for your bike. By combining a solid front cross bar with a solid boot, this chock uses floor space more efficiently than any other design. Multiple rear wheel cradle adjustments allow you to fit wheels perfectly for stability during storage, transport, or maintenance. Fits 17"-21" wheels between 3-5/32" - 7-3/32" wide. We also included a pair of our 2000 lb. rated 1.5" x 6' heavy-duty nylon tie-downs. Our straps feature sewn-on soft ties, dual safety clips on plastic-coated metal hooks and heavy-duty ratchets. These versatile straps are also great for use with your ATV, tractor, or other equipment. Note: Motorcycles with front wheel fender skirts and/or front wheel fender extensions should not use the wheel chock with the pivoting cradle set in the fourth hole (longest position). Use caution during the initial setup to ensure proper clearance on all bodywork.

  • Great wheel chock!
Style: Standard
This wheel chock does exactly what I was hoping it would do. It hold my motorcycle upright and in place which is great for storing, cleaning, etc. It is heavy duty and keep my bike stable. It is adjustable to fit 17” (which my bike has) to 21” wheels. It does take a little force to move the motorcycle in and out of the chock as you have to push it over the pivoting cradle when moving it in and out of it. I was concerned that the chock would slide forward when pushing the bike into it but it stayed in place. I also used this chock on a trailer when transporting my Harley Davidson Road Glide. I just screwed the chock to the wooden floor of the trailer. It kept the front wheel in place when using tie downs. It does require simple assembly. This works great for me and would recommend this wheel chock. ... show more

  • Perfect for my Indian Chieftain
Style: Standard
This seems to be the best chock of this type for the money. It is very sturdy, simple (I love simple), and easy to assemble. Initially, I just placed it on the floor and tried to use it that way, but of course it just slides across the concrete floor. So (as you can see from one of the photos), I attached it to a piece of 5/8 inch plywood and, voila, right into the chock. I recommend using four bolts if you use a sheet of plywood, as otherwise the bike might just keep on going forward, at which point one can expect some damage. I played it safe with the size adjustment (as the manufacturer recommends), and it worked perfectly. For comparison, my front wheel is on a 16" rim. Like many of the Harleys, my Indian has a fender that drops rather low in the back, and the third hole brings the rear mechanism about one inch from contact with the fender, whereas it looks like the second hole would cause it to hit the fender. Of course, I didn't give it a try to make sure since it would probably damage my fender. Also, as you can see, there is plenty of clearance for the disc brakes. For use in a garage, this should make routine maintenance (checking fluids etc.) much easier. It should also bolt down nicely on a utility trailer for transportation. I would recommend this motorcycle chock to anyone who wants an inexpensive alternative to chocks that look pretty much the same but cost two to three times as much. A word of advice: Make sure you park your bike absolutely upright. I went out to my garage this morning and my bike was laying on its side. I knew it was slightly off to the left but figured it would be okay--wrong. No matter, I intended it mainly for maintenance and, when necessary, transporting my motorcycle tied down on a trailer. UPDATE MARCH 2018: Still using it, but now for my 2017 H-D Road King. Works even better for the Harley, since the front fender is a little shorter and doesn't interfere with the chock wheel lock. ... show more

  • Best Option For a Front Wheel Chock
Style: Standard
This wheel chock works on my 37 Indian and it is so much better than any other chock I have found that I totally recommend this over any other. It is well designed, built strong, and works with the long skirt on my front fender.

  • Well built, made changes but would buy again.
Style: Standard
I bought 2 of the Extreme Max 5001.5010 Motorcycle Wheel Chock stands now. I was pleased with the material thickness, and quality of the bends, could stand to have about 6mm longer bolts as the teflon on the locking nuts just touched the teflon. I changed out the bolts to a longer bolt. Once totally assembled I was not happy with how the pivot point moved, it seemed a bit tight for my likings. I have a stock of shoulder bolts so I reamed the holes out to 1/2" and used shoulder bolts for the pivot. This made it much easier to put the bike on the stand and pull the bike off the stand. This is a me thing, most everyone else could get by. If your going to use the stand on concrete or pavement i recommend putting a rubber mat under the stand to prevent it from sliding. ... show more

  • Very Well Made and My 2003 Goldwing Fits Perfectly
Style: Standard
I ordered the Extreme Max 5001.5010 Motorcycle Wheel Chock Sept 3rd 2024 and it was delivered on the 5th. Very fast delivery considering I live in Canada and I ordered it from Amazon USA because it would arrive sooner and it was cheaper. Anyways... I have a 2003 Honda Goldwing and I did read at least one review of someone who had a Goldwing and they said it fits. It fits perfectly. I put the rocker arm on the second hole in from the back and it was the right one. The arm doesn't even come close to hitting the lower fender extension. I took a bunch of pictures as it shows just how well my bike fits in the chock. The chock is extremely well made. The metal is thick and it arrived with no damage, even though the box was a bit beat up. It costs more than a lot of other Motorcycle Wheel Chocks but I wanted a good one that I could fasten to the floor in my bike shed and wasn't too long. I do recommend this item. ... show more
