Description

Extreme Max designed this deluxe kit to give you the gear you need to store or transport your bike safely. We've included our sleek, stable, and solid steel wheel chock. We love this chock because one person can safely and easily secure the motorcycle without tipping - simply drive your bike onto the chock and the rear wheel cradle will lock the front wheel in place. It's is designed to take up minimal room on the mounting surface while providing maximum stability for your bike. By combining a solid front cross bar with a solid boot, this chock uses floor space more efficiently than any other design. Multiple rear wheel cradle adjustments allow you to fit wheels perfectly for stability during storage, transport, or maintenance. Fits 17"-21" wheels between 3-5/32" - 7-3/32" wide. We also included a pair of our 2000 lb. rated 1.5" x 6' heavy-duty nylon tie-downs. Our straps feature sewn-on soft ties, dual safety clips on plastic-coated metal hooks and heavy-duty ratchets. These versatile straps are also great for use with your ATV, tractor, or other equipment. Note: Motorcycles with front wheel fender skirts and/or front wheel fender extensions should not use the wheel chock with the pivoting cradle set in the fourth hole (longest position). Use caution during the initial setup to ensure proper clearance on all bodywork.

I bought this to trailer a 2013 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager. She's a 900 lb beast. This wheel chock will hold the bike vertical, but a strong gust of wind would knock her over. I tested the wheel setting on all 4 holes and found the 2nd from the right works best. Again, the chock does hold the bike vertical, but I wouldn't trust it very long. I mounted 2 d-ring anchors close the the front bolts on the cross bracket and I cinch a ratetch strap over the front tire as soon as possible. I think using eye bolts thru your deck in place of hex bolts would achieve the same result of giving a good anchor point for the front tire. The two straps included are nice that they have soft straps built in, but the ratchet mechanism is kinda tight and not easy to work with one hand. Maybe a shot of lubricant will help. I bought a used very good condition item with a very banged up box and the wheel brace part had some road rash scrapes, but it's no concern since this thing will live on my 5x10 trailer. I can always shoot some black gloss spray paint to prevent rust. The wheel chock is heavy duty steel, very sturdy, and when my bike is fully strapped down, she's pretty solid. I would recommend this item just know for big bikes they will balance, but still need to be strapped. Also, if you are using this on flat ground like a garage floor, it will take two people to push the big bike out of the block. I'm 5'-9" and 200lbs and I couldn't pop it out by myself. I think if the wheel lever part were narrower, it would be more stable before strapping the bike. ... show more

This chock is heavy duty! I purchased another chock locally, as I wasn't sure which would be a better value. In all fairness, I also caught the local one on sale and was hoping it would work. Once the Extreme arrived, it was obvious what I had to do - the local one had to go back. I feel much safer with my 800# bike in this chock with the tie downs, than I would in the other chock. I do wish they would have included mounting hardware, but at least I know when I go to the hardware store I will be able to pick up Grade 8 or Stainless hardware to secure it. ... show more

This is a great chock for Indian Chieftain motorcycles with the low front wheel fenders. Note: Use the three hole from the back. See photos if you need a visual. I had searched and brought other wheel chocks that did not fit or would have damaged the front fender. This one with the straps was a great deal for the price and functionality.
