Description

The right winch is important, and so is the mount you use with it. The proper winch mount maximizes winch performance and safety, and seamlessly integrates your winch with your ATV. This Extreme Max ATV winch mount fits select Polaris ATVs and UTVs with Generation 4 chassis, including Sportsman, Xplorer, Xpedition, Magnum, and Diesel models. (See fit chart in second image for complete information.) Designed to work with the new OEM Deluxe Brushguard 2874785-067. Does NOT work with Polaris OEM Brush Guard or Double Tube Bumper. For use with all ATV winches from 2000 - 3600 pounds with 4-hole (3.00" x 4.875") or 2-hole (3.10" x 4.875") standard mounting pattern. Designed for use with roller fairleads with 4.875" mounting. I am totally not using this as designed, but it filled my need. I wanted something that could sit in my grill guard on my pickup truck that could fit between the two horizontal bars and wedge in there. This did the job perfectly. I thought i may need to modify it a little but it did the job exactly how i wanted right out of the box. When i need to pull my heavy duty inflatable boat out of the water, i can wedge this into my grill guard, rig up the cable and pull it up out of the water. When i'm done, i can unwedge it from the grill guard and pack it away until next time . It doesn’t fit if you have a tubular bumper on the front of your four wheeler. But all I had to do was take an angle grinder and cut the ears off the top sides and then it fit great. Now I have an awesome four wheelers and I’ll never get stuck again. I would recommend having someone help you mount it though because trying to hold it in place, line up the holes for the bolts, and installing them all at the same time is kind of difficult.
