Description

The UniPlow One-Box ATV Plow System has everything you need to get a plow on your ATV in ONE box: UniPlow blade, UniMount universal mount, and push tube assembly. The 50” UniPlow blade features a bolt-together design engineered for lighter duty applications, such as residential use. The UniMount universal mount allows UniPlow to fit most ATVs on the market. After the initial installation, the blade and push tube may be connected or disconnected from the ATV in a matter of seconds by way of the mount’s quick release design; just two pins and you’re on your way! Each blade is equipped with a one-piece replaceable wear bar that protects the bottom of your blade from undue damage. This "Plow in a Box" concept isn't new - but building it right is. We've taken the time to test and create the easiest most effective plow system on the market. Customers told us that they wanted a fully-assembled 50" plow blade and minimal install time. We listened! All Uni-Plow One-Box ATV Plow components are finished in durable black powder-coat and carry a one-year warranty.

  • Great plow works awesome and very durable and sturdy - be patient building it and be sure to get a winch
The plow is great and very sturdy and durable. It worked like a charm! It did take me about 5 hours over 2 day period to build and install it. While the plow itself is not that hard to build, the instructions were not extrodinarily descriptive and had a few small errors in them. Just watch all your bolts, other than the mount you have no extra bolts or washers at all so do not lose one. Also be sure you get a winch. I failed to read you needed one so after building it had to order a winch. Overall though works great, very sturdy and saved good money. Be calm and patient during the build once it is done you will be proud and happy. As said, if you are not at least somewhat "build" savy you may want to have a friend or neighbor help you. I know somewhat about building these things and have a BS degree but at times I had to walk away and breath a bit and come back later. You have to be able to analzye the picture and then know how to put it together as the instructions are decent but not the best. A couple times they have the wrong screw size mentioned but you can figure it out. Be patient and you will be very happy!! ... show more

  • Great Plow, Highly recommended
I bought this plow for a 1990 Honda TRX300FW ATV. Since my ATV wasn't listed on their compatibility chart, I contacted Extreme Max customer support via their web site to inquire about compatibility. Their response was prompt and included a paper template that could be printed out and used to determine if the mounting hardware would work with my ATV. After using the template, I was reasonably confident that the plow would work, or at the most require minimal customization. I installed the plow in my brothers garage with my brother and a couple of other guys and I can say that everyones first impression upon un-boxing was that this is a pretty heavy duty set-up. We all work in the steel fabrication industry in some form or another and we were all impressed with the quality of materials used. Assembly was straight forward with a well written set of instructions and illustrations. I couldn't ask for a better set of installation / assembly instructions. After laying out the parts, the plow was assembled in about an hour. I worked on the push tube assembly while my buddy worked on the blade assembly and then we attached the two. Fitting the mounting plate to the ATV seemed like the most time consuming part only because I had to locate and drill (2) holes and cut (2) notches in the skid plate for the U-bolts to pass through. I could have un-bolted and removed the skid plate, and assembling would have taken about 5 minutes, but instead we spent about a half hour on attaching the mounting plate to the bottom of the ATV. We stood the ATV up on its rear end much like one of the photos above to make it more accessible and easier to work on. The mounting plate attaches only about 6" in front of where a true "mid-mount" plow setup would attach, and it still uses the horizontal frame rails so there is much less risk of bending anything during plowing than there is if you're using a front mount setup. Attachment of the plow unit to the mount really couldn't be easier. Line up the holes, slide in (2) pins, and clip your winch hook to the attachment point and your done. Literally takes under a minute to attach and detach the plow. Honestly, based on the prices of other plow systems were you have to buy the mount, the push tubes, and the blade separately, I can't believe that this Uni-Plow system is not priced higher. I kinda feel like I'm lucky that I bought now before they realize that they're way under-charging for this unit. I highly recommend this plow setup, especially for the '88-'92 Honda TRX300 owners out there who can't find a direct fit plow system for their ATV's. This Uni-Plow system is, for all intents and purposes, a direct fit. ... show more

  • Really nice plow
Installed on 2012 Honda Rancher 420 with no problem. Recommend two people though as it is a little heavy to hold the pieces together. It is really easy to hook up and remove from the four wheeler. Was glad everything I needed came in one box and mounted up without issues. Getting the holes drilled in the skid plate for the ubolts was a little tricky, but no fault of the product. Made a template with cardboard. Mounted the ubolts without the skid plate, marked the closet frame holes to the ubolts and marked where the ubolts came down. Worked pretty good. Going to go back when the weather warms up and adjust it a little. Used it a few times and once for a 19" snowfall. Some of the deeper snow had to push or ram harder, but the plow had no problems with it. More of an issue with getting traction with the ATC. Probably going to get chains for next winter. Was able to back grade as well to remove snow and worked good for that. The cable on my SuperWinch LT3000 did break right when I finished up the first time. I think that was more of an issue with the cable on the winch as I found a bad spot further up in the cable, even though this was a new winch and the cable had never been used. Replaced it with a synthetic rope and no problems yet. ... show more

  • This is NOT a blade for long term use!
Everything seemed pretty good, install was fairly easy and plowing worked well. The issue is the blade is very weak and bends very easily. I got through a couple seasons, but the blade needs to be replaced. I contacted the company and was told they sell NO REPLACEMENT parts. My only option was to buy a whole new system. Funny how this company makes an inferior product and then thinks I will buy the whole system from them again. ... show more
