The aluminum arm and base offer a sturdy lightweight support, while the nylon trolling motor mounting block allows up to 90° of angle adjustment before locking into place. The bracket is intended to have the trolling motor removed before initiating outboard or other engine power. Includes all necessary mounting hardware.

Avoid at all costs!!!!!!! Used it one time and the welds snapped and motor went right in the water. This product should be discontinued before some one gets hurt. Welded pieces were no beveled to make a sting weld. The just surface weld the out side lost a 400$ trolling motor over this piece of junk. ... show more

To help with the weld on the transum,The 8mm bolt need to pass throught to the other side to obtain support from both sides of the socket. So the bolt should be about 40-45 mm long as to clamp and obtain support from both sides. With the provided nurled handled screw is on about 16mm putting stress on one side of the socket. The weld can use a little more penetration as well.For future adaptations please provide a 8mm x 45mm bolt and nut. ... show more
