Bought this for getting a bit extra reach for making videos with an action camera and my phone gimbal. Surprisingly very sturdy and light weight. The twist lock system is stable and I have no worry about my stuff falling or wobbling.

Loved the fact that you can hold the Gimbal high up, but it doesn’t hold it sturdy. And the fact that you can’t have ur case on ur phone when using the Gimbal, is scary.

I wanted a selfie stick for use with both my GoPro and Osmo Pocket. I needed the 1/4 screw so I can install the "slide in" mount used by GoPro. This way, I can quickly mount either my phone or the other aforementioned video cameras. This is very sturdy and a bit weighty. The weight helps to get a steadier shot. Has a nice grippy material on the handle. The stick won't bend when extended to the max because it's designed to hold a fully mounted gimbal. Just be aware that this is very hefty.     • Excellent tool to elevate/lower Galaxy phone for better picture angles.
I use this with Zhiyun Smooth 5 gimbal and it works great. Any of these extension sticks would be even better is could have shutter trigger built in but I get around this by using Galaxy pen or voice commands to trigger the shot when up high or very low (Some earbuds as well as watches could do the same) . The pen only works when using the camera/video software control built in. It does not trigger the picture/video when using Zhiyun ZY CAMI software (excellent otherwise). ... show more

I got this to use with my GOPRO and I am very satisfied, metal construction all around and very sturdy. I found it on my bicycle to take selfy videos of my rides and it works well for this type of operation. Recomended.

The media could not be loaded. This extension rod is very disappointing. When I was buying it, it states that it’s gimbal friendly. Clearly not . It’s not worth 18 buckaroons. It’s not stable as I reviewed it. I AM GETTING MY MONEY BACK!!!!. Pls do yourself a favor and not buy this. Just because it has good ratings doesn’t mean it’s worth buying 👀👀 ... show more
