After seeing this product on a friend’s truck I opted to buy one for my 2019 Ford Ranger. Quality is great. It’s sturdy and fits perfectly. Installation took about 20 mins. The top is very secure and when tailgate is locked provides space and peace of mind for the dead bodies I have in the truck bed. Mileage on the highway improved from 26.2 mpg to 26.7 mpg. It’s been installed for a couple months and gone through several car washes. Color has not faded. Stylewize it improves the look of the truck. Only drawback is it will leak a little at the panel seams during heavy rain, not 100% water proof. ... show more

For the 2019 Ford Ranger the cover comes with 2 brackets for strengthening the screw down clamps junction to the cab end bed wall. This over the top addition includes 4 bolts needed to attach brackets to preexisting truck bed threaded holes. The bolts also include a bit of loc-tite type treatment. The cover is easy to install and remove. No rails to install (with clamps that work loose over time). It is definitely a solid option in every respect. ... show more

Cover leaked in numerous places including area that the water ran into the bed like a faucet, luckily I was able to get a replacement covered by the manufactures warranty but had to go with the newer version. Never had issues with previous 2.0 on other trucks.

After researching and seeing how simple the installation was for the extang 2.0 tri-fold bed cover I was dead set on getting it for my ranger. Unfortunately due to how I optioned my truck it made installing a pain. I have a 6' bed which has a spray in liner from the factory. The 6 foot bed cover comes with two L-brackets which have to be screwed into the bed of the truck right above the tie downs near the cab. These pre drilled holes had to be tapped, in order to clean out the over spray so that the bolts could be screwed in. My Ranger then had bed caps and so the instructions call for some cutting to make clearance for good contact on all of the clamps. This wasn't much of a surprise as one of my friends installed an extang tri fold on his F-150 and mentioned this. The bulkhead accessory rail was a must for me again due to the bed caps, without the rail accessory there is a nice gap between the bulk head and tri fold cover. Three sets of instructions 1)Rail Accessory 2)Auxiliary Bed Rail Brackets 3)Cover Installation Sheet I wish I was aware of all this before hand (I would have gone another route). I hope this review can help someone with a drop in bed or sprayed in liner as this easy to install cover can turn into a weekend project. Update: 1/15/2020 After watch the BAKFlip MX4 install it seems their installation also includes the bulkhead rail accessory for the Ranger. ... show more

This product is well designed and came with everything needed to easily install on my 2019 Ford Ranger w/5’ bed. Fits and looks great. I was prepared to trim away some areas of the factory installed bed liner, but that wasn’t necessary. I checked the reviews and installation info. I usually do not write reviews, but this is one outstanding product! I did a lot of research for a tonneau cover for my new 2019 Ford Ranger. This cover has it all, easy one person 15 minute install, very east to open and fold back, looks awesome, and for me the biggest deal maker is that the panels are dent resistant polypropylene, the other quality hard covers are aluminum, which scratch and dent. i wash the truck, treat the tires and give the cover a light of you favorite vinyl dressing and your go to go! ... show more
