Description
Built to provide peak performance for all inshore applications, the new Exsence strikes an aggressive balance of technology and intelligent design while embracing the perfect balance of a lightweight feel and durability in Shimano's lineup of MagnumLite series of reels. The MGL Rotor reduces startup inertia, allowing anglers to control the start-and-stop retrieval of jigs or lures more efficiently to entice even the most finicky of inshore game fish. This MGL Rotor technology also enables anglers to engage in quick hook sets during those defining microseconds between a hooked fish and a missed bite. The light yet extremely rigid magnesium HAGANE Body eliminates flex, ensuring maximum reeling efficiency and power transmission. At the heart of Exsence lies Shimano's cold-forged HAGANE Gear, providing anglers extreme cranking power and supreme durability for lasting performance. The bottom line: Exsence embodies dynamic saltwater performance and is sure to deliver during those defining moments that make it a good or excellent day on the water.
