I love this book. Brief snippets of weddings interlaced with the author's personal story make this a lively and interesting read. Definitely a page turner!

As others have said, this book is a fast read. The stories are so crazy and interesting it's very hard to put it down. Since it's so engaging, I gave this book 4 stars, but I didn't find the author very likable at all. She was very critical and negative. Entertaining

Not a bad book, although it seemed as though the author almost had nothing positive to say about shooting weddings and I began to wonder why she does them in the first place. There were a lot of humorous stories from weddings she has shot though that made it more readable.

"Exposed !" paints a beautiful picture with the written word

After hearing Claire Lewis interviewed on NPR, I (a budding film photographer) couldn't wait to order "Exposed!", Confessions of a Wedding Photographer. My wife (the best photographer I know)got ahold of the book before I did, and, as I had hoped, absoulutely loved it. She would giggle, laugh and cry,and I would continuously ask "what?...what?", until finally, I got to read the book as well. I would be hard pressed to think that anyone in the world hasn't at least attended a wedding, and even if you haven't, this is a fabulous read. Being acquainted with film and the darkroom, and how much work (but great fun!) it is, made me enjoy it that much more. I love the book like I loved my favorite books ever...those by James Herriot (All Creatures Great and Small, etc.). Claire Lewis has the ability to tell a great story. I highly reccomend this book, as there is something for everyone. You won't regret it!!! ... show more

for those who wish to know the business of wedding photography....
Interesting and helirious on some part. What I found the hardship and the problem faced by her is not much of different as from this part of the world. I definitely recommend this book to any wedding photographer to read this book at least once. ( though I am reading this book for second time but in part ) :-) ... show more

A lot of fun and some useful tips
As an officiant I work with photographers every wedding. It was useful to see a wedding (and particularly the participants) from the other side of the camera. Some useful information for brides, grooms, and officiants.

Wonderfully entertaining and well-written

Hilarious and startling stories. Even better because the author has a wonderful style and gift for writing. I've shot some weddings myself, so I appreciate the book even more. One of the most fun reads in years.
