Great RTT for the price, the quality is on par with higher end brands. The shell and hardware are made of pretty high quality material. The gas strut system is great and very springy. Zippers and tent material are great and not cheap. The ladder is awesome, really easy to expand and collapse but the angle of the steps leaves a little to be desired, depending on how the ladder is oriented. The mounting process is simple and quite universal. If you’re a person of average fitness you could probably get this up by yourself, if done carefully. Comes with all of the accessories you really need, including mounts and cross bars if you intend on needing to carry things on top of the tent. You can easily fit two adults inside. There are a ton of pockets and the interior lighting and outlet connections are awesome. The padding to sleep on is just soft and dense enough to sleep on your side comfortably. The only downsides I’ve noticed so far is that you have to really make sure everything is tucked in and that the seal and little flap going around the inside are oriented as best as you can. If done right, moisture intrusion is 99.9% mitigated, but it can be tricky. Take your time doing that when closing. Additionally, a pro but a con, the packaging it is in is very protective, it’s a hardwood box with metal clamp tabs. High quality but hard to get rid of depending on where you live. I’d recommend this product over any higher end RTT. It’s been durable thus far and versatile. Long and wide enough to fit 2 6” people laying on their backs but also short enough to fit a 2 door Jeep without overhand and slim enough to fit any cargo/SUV based vehicle. ... show more

Best purchase I’ve made in a while. Was debating for a long time on getting a RTT & finally decided on this one during Black Friday & so glad I did. Looks amazing& so easy to pop open & close. Inside stays dry no matter the weather & the attachments like the awning & shoe bags are a nice touch. Inside is way roomier than I expected, my dog & I both slept up there peacefully with room to spare. Loved the lights on the inside, they were really convenient. The mattress lining was fine for me but may be a little thin for some. Comes in a huge shipping crate so plan ahead; I made sure to be home when I knew it was coming since I live in an apartment & knew I’d have to have it delivered in a certain area since it’s so large. Installation was really easy honestly-hardest part was just lifting it onto the car because it’s heavy so definitely have at least one other person willing to help out! Good tent great price compared to some of these other name brands. It’s heavy so make sure you have a good plan to get it on top your vehicle. I ordered upgraded mounting hardware I recommend. Just got it in the mail, delivered by a trucking company, and it came way before they said it would. I’ve got it loaded on my truck on top of a lowboy rack so there’s virtually no wind drag at highway speeds. I haven’t got to use it yet but I have inspected it thoroughly and it’s Awesome. It’s built very well, everything listed in the description is there in the packages. It did arrive in a wooden crate that didn’t have a scratch on it. I highly recommend this product to anyone, and the price is excellent for such a superior product. (5 Stars. I would have given 6 if there were 6 Stars) ... show more

This thing is awesome. Hooked up to my roof rack with no issues. Drove around with it before actually camping. There is a little wind noise but that is to be expected. Camping in this was great. Used it for a festival and I love how it is not noisy and it blacks out. Keep in mind though, it is VERY HEAVY!! Moving this thing off my car and into my house was a challenge. Have 3 people at least with you. All in all though, worth the money and made my festival experience much more enjoyable. ... show more

Spent nine days in Yellowstone, the bighorns, and the Tetons in this tent. I’m 6’4” and it’s a tight fit lengthwise, but with a diesel heater, 30 degree nights were no problem. Added a Thule ski box and a solar panel and the tent still opened like it wasn’t there. Great value. I did add an inflatable mattress to the provided foam mattress to provide a little more comfort. ... show more
