My old tire covers were in need of replacement. I started shopping on Amazon and thought finding a replacement that didn't need to get strap secured would be easy but that wasn't the case. I saw the Explorer Land cover bought it, received it and on a day that I had no patience tried to install one on the front tire. Instead of starting the coach, raising the jacks and getting the airbags pumped up so I had room to install this new cover which by the way was very heavy duty I tried to get the cover on the tire, couldn't get it easily over the tire, got ticked, placed it back in the box and returned them. That was very dumb on my part !!!! I then shopped trying to find a new cover, bought light-weight junk that fit easily but wouldn't last returned that and again bought another one from Explorer Land. When they arrived, I started the coach, raised the jacks got the clearance I needed to install the cover and BOY what a nice well made cover. If I didn't try and get away with being lazy the first time and did what was necessary to get the proper clearance to install these covers I could have saved myself a lot of grief. If your in need of a very nice well made tire cover, give this brand a try.

Installed two sets of these to help preserve the 4 tires on my cargo trailer stored in the El Centro CA area for the summer. I did use some straps to go around the tires as an extra precaution due to occasional high gusty winds. I won't be checking the trailer for 6 months so I can't say how these covers will hold up in the sun and the heat and the winds. They fit my tires very well and were easy to put on but seemed a bit on the looser side (not too bad) so did the extra with the straps. I have used other brands in the past and they only last about two seasons at best as the sun cooks the vinyl and they become very brittle. Hope these are better.

Explore Land Tire Covers 4 pk. My tire 8.5" x 28" diameter. Purchased larger Diameter 29-31.75" White; color is ivory. Relaxed size (both left to right and top down) 30.5" x 8-3/4". Well made, thin felted vinyl, no fasteners, cords or grommets. Sewn (thin) elastic makes it fitted. I used a large paint stick, drilled at each end and threaded with rope. (See picture.) Fit cover over tire, roll stick w/fabric up taunt towards tire. Extend rope behind tire and then above axle and tie. I believe if you purchase the correct size, that they will be true to fit and you would not have to use extra measures to secure them. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Was looking for tire covers for a semitruck and trailer with 24.5" rims. I ordered 3 different brands to see which fit best knowing I could probably use them on another trailer with 22.5" rims if they didn't fit the larger tires. The Adco brand claimed to be sized 2+" larger (size 43-45" OS) than these Exploreland (size 39-42"). However, even though the sizing was supposedly bigger the Adco fit extremely tight and didn't quite reach the ground so a little bit of the tire was left exposed at the bottom. When I tried the Exploreland (which is sized 2+" smaller than Adco) I was pleasantly surprised they fit snug but had a little more room depth wise and they actually covered the entire tire down to the ground. So even though these were the best of the three brands as far as coverage the first reason I am giving 4 stars is because they are not a true white color which I wanted (they are a yellowish cream colored off white). White is desired to reflect the sun and heat which destroys tires! If the purpose of a tire cover is to preserve and prolong the tire's life I'm not sure why anyone would order black which absorbs sunlight and heat (both bad news for tires) but too bad Exploreland doesn't come in a true reflective white material. Also, 2nd disappointment is that there are no grommet holes to secure the bottom if desired. Even though they fit pretty good we get high wind here and I noticed it can billow up inside the cover and reposition it. I'm worried if I get a really strong wind storm they may actually blow off and I would have better peace of mind if I could have bungeed or straped the bottom to secure them even though they haven't blown off yet and almost everyday is windy here. I've had them installed a few weeks but like I said before the wind has already been able to reposition them due to the slack in the depth. Finally in case anyone wants to know the third brand I ordered was Leisure Coachworks sized 40-42". They were the smallest of all 3 brands but they are a true reflective white color and like Adco they come with grommets and straps to secure the cover in place. They are a good fit on my semi trailer with 22.5" low pro tires but too small for my 24.5" rims. Too bad I can't get Leisure Coach works or the Adco reflective white material with grommets in a bigger size to fit my semi tires as these were the biggest sizes they sell.

Previously I had a set of thin tire covers, they blew off in the wind. Bought these and through all of last year they stayed on perfectly. They are also thicker than most which protects the tire from the sun.
