You needed special charger to charge in series circuit into 2 of 12 volt LiFePO4 battery. I average 27 volt instead of 25 volt from lead acid battery for small, Drive Phoenix scooter. The speed were from 4MPH to 5MPH plus much higher torque as this scooter really climb firmly steep hill without bogging down. The range that nearly double. This battery is costly but it's really worth it. To me, lead acid battery that really suck. Less than 3 years later, one of battery were sagging at lower voltage. I may use the old weaker lead acid battery for solar use for lighter duty use with 20 watts solar panel with charging controller.

I am using the Expert Power 20ah LifePO4 battery for a portable crossband repeater for search and rescue. The light weight lithium battery was perfect in cutting down weight of the repeater. The up front cost is bit more than a SLA, but it's well worth it. They best part is you get ALL 20ahs of LiFePO4, where SLA is maybe half it's advertised capacity. I did a trial run, with the repeater pulling about 4 amps on transmit and .3 amps on standby. The repeater was on and actively transmitting a busy local channel. I expected maybe 8 hours of run time till it got low. It's been going for 12 hours and is only down to about 60% capacity! I have an Expert Power 18ah SLA and you'd be lucky to run a radio for 6-8 hours before the depth of discharge got to low. Thanks Expert Power for a great battery at a great price. It is very well constructed, durable, and I expect it to last for a long time!

UPDATE: After several attempts I finally got in contact with "support". After numerous emails, I sent in the battery for testing at my expense. After not hearing anything for some time I had to contact them to get a status. They said my battery was able to be charged and discharged with no issues using their charger. I asked if they had done load testing on the battery but I did not get a reply. After a couple weeks they finally sent my old battery back to me. I did purchase their charger and charged my old battery. The first time I used the battery using my ham radio, after a few minutes the radio would shut off which is what my issue was to begin with. I sent them another email to say I still have the same issue and there was a specific reason I asked if they load tested the battery. That was about a week ago and I've never heard a response. So much for the world class support. This battery is probably okay for QRP operation on the ham radio but that's about it. So if you have any issues with this battery, don't expect a lot of support from this company. Original review. I have 2 of these. Purchased on in Mar 2022, had about 80 cycles on it for Ham Radio Parks on the Air running 110 Watts. In Jun 2023 my Genius 5 charger would report the cells are unbalanced and the BMS system shut off charging. After several hours tried again, it seemed to charge but when using the radio the voltage was too low to operate. I ordered another one Jun 2023 (silly me I could have contacted the mfg then). I have about 50 cycles on this new battery (I rotate batteries and the other one I use is an 18Ah battery not from this mfg) and now I am getting the exact same result where the charging shuts off and I have to wait hours to try again. A week ago I emailed support which promised 24 hour response. Got nothing. I went to their website and used their "contact us" form and tried again and that was a few days ago and nothing. So My review of 1 star not only reflects the wasted money for batteries that are suppose to last 10 years with thousands of cycles but also the lack of support I'm getting from the manufacturer. So Just be aware, if you have an issue with these you'll be on an Island with no support.

I use these for my whole house electric start generator instead of lead acid batteries, and I used them to replace the battery in my car jump box when it died. The lithium iron phosphate battery is good for many, many charge cycles, which will give me years of service.

This is my story So I’ve used 12V 17ah lead acid batteries on my ice chest radio I take to the beach..new lead acid batteries give me 5-6 hours of music depending on how much crank I give the volume.After 2 years of use or so the life charge goes down to 4-5 hours (not bad considered I have an amp with 2 6x9 speakers and 4 5x8 speakers ,along with a equalizer…..On this Lithium’ brand new battery it only gave me 3.5 hours ….I was expecting more then that

Worked for about 9 months then died. Zero voltage out put. Zero current charging. (Open circuit) More then likely the internal battery protection circuit died Has a open.

It only worked 2 times and know has no power and will not take a charge at all not even a month old I was able to get in contact with them and they were great on getting the issue solved. Not right for my needs so they let me return it with no problems
