This blanket is exactly what I expected. Yes, it is thin, but I knew it would be. And despite that, it is extremely soft & warm. I absolutely love the feel of it. Also, it is very large for a throw blanket; easily completely covers me & my boyfriend. Right now we actually are using it as a couch cover and it’s the only throw we’ve had that completely tucks into the cushions and hasn’t moved, thru multiple nights of sleeping on the couch and our dog constantly on the couch. I you want something really thick and warm, this may not be it. There are places where you can see light thru the fabric. But for a light throw to keep the chill away, it should do.
