I received my scooter and thought immediately what a beauty it is. Delivery was prompt and they unpacked and took away crate. I was anxious to take a ride. The instruction manual was just photocopied plain paper and not very detailed. Following it exactly I could not get the unit turned on. I had a very good conversation with the company and got the information needed. They were pleasant and followed up very promptly. Apparently the local distributor supplied me with a "not standard" instruction manual. I was able to download a company manual and away I went. My husband loves it, traded his moped for a more dependable scooter with batteries. It's built good feels sturdy and looks quite nice going down the road or sidewalk. Don't depend on 18 mph though the best is 15 mph, which is still good for a scooter. He was able to get 38 miles on a charge and that included a lot of hills out in the country. I paid $2000 for this scooter and only had it for 3 months and it doesn’t work. Ewheels dealer have horrible customer service, they will not service the item, replace the parts or offer and refund non replacement. Don’t waste your money like I did!

    • Not waterproof
More fun than a barrel of monkeys but I can't use it in the rain. I use it to get to work. Rainy days in April are a problem and this particular scooter doesn't have a "tiller" cover that fits. Otherwise tons of fun. Very fast for a scooter like this and makes it up the hill that I live on at 20MPH.
