Wouldn't waste the money or time. Showed up broken, not bery well thought out design and regular standard blades won't fit. That's by far the dumbest thing I've ever seen an idget company do.

  • A replacement multi-material blade does not seem to be available at this time
Style: Miter Table Saw
4/29/25: After using the saw a while I’m keeping it but the con noted below concerning visibility when aligning work in chop-saw mode is a real problem. I’m working with old 5/8” x 2” teak boards reclaimed from sailboat decking making boxes to hold various kinds of annunciators - they hold a number of 7-segment displays and various circuitry to act as monitor displays. I rip the boards to the depth I want and it’s this function in my very small shop that convinced me to keep the saw. Once ripped I lay the wide side down and cut at 45º angles and then use picture frame jigs to glue up the boxes. At 45º it is difficult to get the saw blade aligned with the cut line marked on the wood when the safety is in the way. I have not tried a 90º cut but I can see that is going to be even harder. The saw is light and compact, it’s easy to move around even without the handles attached. It’s heavy enough that I don’t need to clamp or bolt it down. The various interlocks to change modes and operate the saw are still confusing to me and it takes a bit to figure out how to get it from chop saw mode to table saw mode and back again. This is just a matter of familiarity. The supplied blade isn’t ideal for cutting 50 year old teak but it doesn’t tear out much. I will probably buy their finer blade as I will rarely ever use the saw for cutting metal. 4/14/25: Received the saw in a giant box which was not damaged but the mfr package inside that box had a ~2”x3” hole punched through the bottom. This pierced the accessories box inside and managed to miss all the internal components. Nothing was damaged. (the four screws are missing that attach the handles to the saw frame) The saw is easy enough to set up, it’s an odd device so its various locks and releases have to be sussed out. The chop angle for example is not locked but is under significant friction - you just force it to the angle you want. The one serious deficiency imo is the blade safety shield which completely blocks your view of the blade when in chopsaw mode. This requires you to hold the shield out of the way to align the blade with a marked cut line and then be careful not to jostle the work when getting your hand back to the handle to start the motor. And it must be your *right* hand because this saw is designed for right handers - it’s very difficult to operate with your left hand. Unfortunately your right hand is busy holding the work and not available to operate the saw. They don’t seem to have thought this all the way through. This is bad in 90º mode and much, much worse in tilt mode (I tested 45º). That encourages removal of the safety shield altogether but with this saw having dual-use I *really* do not want to remove it. To be fair all of my saws still have the safety installed but only because they’re a pita to remove. All require fiddling to get them to swing out of the way because they’re old. All of those saws are single-use however. With this saw you could be using the top table and could easily forget that there is another side to that blade underneath - the safety is really important in this situation (my opinion). The problem exists because the blade safety shield is actuated by the work itself, my other two chop saws both have an actuator arm that moves the safety out of the way earlier so you can actually see the cutting edge of the blade where it touches the work. I’m not convinced this is worth the price difference over their popular 7-1/4” sliding compound saw which att is about $100 cheaper. I’m giving it 4-stars but in fact I may have to return it due to it’s difficult operation. Original: I ordered this before fully researching the multi material blade it ships with. That blade is not available so far as I can tell anywhere in the US at this time, it is an Evolution RAGEBLADE210MULTI which is an 8-1/4”/210mm blade with a 1” arbor. There are other Evolution blades for this saw on Amazon for rough and fine cutting woods but not this MULTI one, not yet. There are other MULTI blades available but only in 7-1/4”, 10” and bigger. I expect the 8-1/4”/210mm will become available at some point. Other blades according to the manual for the saw: * GW210TCT-30 general cutting * FW210TCT-40 fine cutting * D210CON diamond I have not received the saw yet so my star rating is temporary. ... show more
