  • Evolution Table Saw
Style: Table Saw
The Evolution Table Saw is an excellent value for the price. It seems to have all I need to complete my home improvement projects. It is easy to use with all the necessary safety features. There is no auto stop when it encounters soft tissue, but for the price, it is still a lovely table saw. I recommend this to a friend. ... show more

  • Great go-to table saw.
Style: Table Saw
Set up is relatively simple. Instructions are easy to follow. Blade and fence were already true and quite accurate. Hearing protection is a must. Construction is heavy duty not easy to heft around by yourself. I love the miter sled and the built in outfield shelf. Big improvement over my last table saw. ... show more

  • Incredible Saw
Style: Table Saw
An incredible saw that is worth every penny! The extension is great for cutting longer boards. Runs quietly and doesn't throw sawdust all over the shop. Rack and pinion fence is so much more accurate than the standard. I built my own stand with wheels for easy mobility (wheels added after the picture). ... show more

  • Worth the wait

Great table saw. Waited a long time for it to restock. I had some questions from customer service they replied instantly. Saw is accurate and easy to use. Assembly was great.

  • Great saw, awful instructions
Style: Table Saw with Stand
First off, I love this table saw. It’s the best jobsite table saw I’ve ever owned or worked with. It cuts true right out of the box, and I did not need to make any adjustments to make the blade square. The rack and pinion fence is very good. The outfeed support is a little on the weak side, but the fact that it even has an outfeed support is amazing for this price point. It comes with a plastic push stick and storage for the various wrenches and mitre gauge. It even comes with a multi-material blade that has worked well with everything I’ve thrown at it so far. My biggest complaint: the assembly instructions for the rolling cart are AWFUL. The cart itself is good once you finally figure out how to put it together, but there are no descriptive words in the manual to tell you how to assemble it. You just have to look at the pictures and try to figure out if you’re even assembling the correct pieces. The manual shows parts A, B, C, D, etc. connected with screws N, but the actual parts don’t have a sticker to tell you that it’s part A, B, C, or D, and you have to do your best to guess if you’re using screw N or P. You also have to give your best guess if you have the pieces aligned correctly or if they need to rotate 180⁰. There were several points during my assembly that I had to pull stuff apart and reassemble it because I realized I had assembled it with the left handle on the right, and it was turned 90⁰. So, bottom line, this is a great saw with the worst assembly instructions I’ve ever seen. ... show more

  • Superior
Style: Table Saw with Stand
Great saw and easy to set-up and use right out of the box. I had a couple issues, but the people in customer service solved it immediately and it was a pleasure to talk with. I would give it 5 stars and 5 thumbs up as well. GREAT JOB EVOLUTION

  • I was nervous buying a saw I hadn't seen in person but it was worth the risk in this case.
Style: Table Saw
I absolutely made the right choice with this table saw. The bult in sliding top is a one of a kind feature I haven't seen since the little Makita table saw but you have to track down one of those used and this saw from Canada has so much more going for it. You can set things up and know that everything is aligned correctly with out overly figgly measuring devices. Even the blade that is included cuts nicely. O was not excited about the plastic top but it has been fine. The one thing is I wish I knew I was using the Blade guard correctly. The instructions are not clear and any videos I've found don't really go into things with any detail or the one they are using is not the same one that came with my saw. ... show more

  • Overated
Style: Table Saw with Stand
Sorry to be the review buzz kill but unfortunately several little things have been missed that in my opinion are worth pointing out. First, the blade insert is way off from being flat to the table. The adjustment screws could only do so much. I had to use a washer as a shim at the front right and even with that I could not get totally flat to the table. Either a high spot or a low spot stayed. After 1.5 hours messing with it, I got it close enough. So this was garbage! The fence locking mechanism which is plastic is flimsy as heck!! How long this will last is TBD. Feels like crap when you use it. Bad quality here. Two minor things but it makes you wonder about overall quality, the cord wrap storage is inadequate for the entire cord. It won't stay on the two hooks after the last two wraps. BS!! There is no storage for the Philips wrench. There is for the blade wrenches and the wrench to adjust the blade insert but not for what you need to take the insert out of the table. I know this is a nit pick but big oversight here. How do you miss that?? I'll come up with something. Flimsy as all heck push stick, total garbage! Miter gauge, useless and total garbage. I haven't used the saw yet but I already bought a new miter gauge. Not worth the time trying to use that plastic nonsense. I had to adjust everything, fence all positions, blade, riving knife. I haven't got to it yet but I'm sure the sliding table will be off too as my confidence in this saw is diminishing with each calibration I check. So far in my opinion, this is an entry level saw at best. I've been in woodworking for over 40 years and I'm not impressed with my initial getting to know this thing. I'll update later after I have had the chance to use it some. But right now, not worth the money. I'd look elsewhere if you want something with better quality. And to think I waited for this stupid thing to get back in stock when I should have went with my other choice. Unfortunately I relied on other reviews in several places who missed too many things. I hope to have something positive to say later. ... show more
