  • EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 ULTRA GAMING Review
This is a very good card for gaming im getting more than 120 fps on 4k ultra in some games just had it for two days i like it beacuse its compact the size is even smaller than my rtx 2080 ti that i had in the same case noise level is good because previously when it reaches high temps my card sounds like a jet engine with buzzing sound similar to coil whine this fortunately did not for now anyway heat is good but could be better at 0 load it's around 60 c at high it can reach 80 c under load but does not feel like its going to explode i don't advice any overclocking since it does not make a diffrence and can damage the card since the temps are a bit high anyway another tinny problem the precition app for the card does not change the rgb that is on the card and about the red lip color it really doesn't show that much in the case I really advice of getting this card even 2k gaming is really not making this card use its potential 4k is the key 60 fps is the lowerst this card can output rdr2 goes to 70~80 fps ... show more

  • Great performance
The card does a great job. It's from arguably the most trustworthy gpu-producing company and I feel comfortable knowing I can go through EVGA support if I ever need to. On top of that, the card performs great. At max load it has never gone above 75 degrees Celsius and there isn't a single game it can't keep up with at 1440p. Some people don't really like the looks of the card (clown lips) but it simply served as a guide for how to design the look of my rig (red & black) and I think it came out looking pretty good. You can't go wrong with this card. ... show more

  • JUST WAIT!!!
She's a beast. Would've rather gotten the ftw but availability is really tight right now. This perfectly works just at fine. Straight out of the box it it did have a little whine that got fixed as soon as I updated. Card is really silent compared to my msi 970. Thermals straight out of the box was around 57 idle and 74 at full load. Went ahead and undervolted to a more straightforward curve at above 840 mVs hitting 1850 clock speeds. Idle temps are 42ish and full load at 55. Only lost 3 frames in horizon zero dawn at 1440p maxed out setting. At around 80 fps. This is with a 3700x. ... show more

  • Great upgrade for Ultrawide gaming!
Coming from a gtx 1070 to this was a huge upgrade. Before in most games I could only play on medium settings but now I get way over 100 FPS in all new AAA at max settings @ 3440x1440. Only complaint is that the card seems to run a bit warm hitting 79 C. But if your looking for an upgrade this is the card to get! If your worried about how hot it runs you might want to consider a EVGA FTW3 3080. ... show more

  • Out of the box I could see this thing was old covered in dust
Upon further inspection you can clearly see there was no thermal pads even left on this thing like it's been used for years I saved up all my money to buy this card building my first PC and this is the worst experience. Card won't even play any game without going straight to 90 and thermal throttle

  • Managed to get one during launch(edited)
Hey, I managed to get this using the one-click buy option in the mobile app. Coming from a GTX 970, I am blown away from the performance. The settings I was using on the GTX 970 in doom eternal got me 60-75 fps. Those same settings on the RTX 3080 got me 470-530 fps. Needless to say I am blown away. This evga model benchmarks extremely well and never experienced any crashing. Do you need this much performance? No, definitely not, but if you do save up for it, it certainly makes for an amazing experience. Edit: As time has passed I realize I was extremely lucky to get one at the original price $750 during launch week. I would say it may be better to wait and see what nvidia and AMD are offering next year, with the inflated pricing I cannot reccomend the card ... show more

  • Great graphics card
Is card is extremely fast and works great for 4k gaming. It does also run cool. It runs at around 67c under full load. The fans do get quite loud too when at full speed, but its not super annoying. Definitely the loudest compnoin my computer.

  • Decent out of the box - not for an overclocker
One of the smaller RTX 3080s on the market. Decent design minus the random red accent at the end of the card - easy enough to cover with a 3D print. The main downside so far is this card has a really low power limit. Would not recommend for an overclocker. My 2080Ti Strix when overclocked came within 5% of this card stock. Over clocking gained me about 5% performance with +100 on the core and +700 on the memory. Would require a bios or shunt mod to overcome this. Otherwise the card is really quiet and the RGB is minimal which I like. Good performance at a decent price, but other cards such as the FE offer a better value. ... show more
