I use my computer a lot, both for work from home and for my hobbies. Recently, I got a new office chair that's very comfortable, except for one thing—the arm rests. They're flat, hard foam, almost plastic feeling, and after resting my elbows on them all day, they leave my elbows red and sometimes cause nerve pain on bad days. To address this issue, I opted for arm covers, choosing ones with the densest foam that seemed most likely to fit my arm rests. The foam is indeed very dense, and even when I put all my weight on it, my arm or elbow never feels the hardness of the chair's arm rest. Installing them is easy, and they mostly stay in place, requiring occasional readjustment every few days. My only complaint is that if you don't strap them in correctly, the Velcro can rub against your clothing and damage it. So it's essential to follow the instructions carefully to avoid this. Despite this minor inconvenience, the comfort they provide outweighs it. I'd recommend these arm covers to anyone facing a similar situation.

So I gave this product four stars, only due to manufacturing issue I have personally that really doesn't impact the product but can definitely be improved on. I will start off with the good, and then get into I guess the bad but not remotely terrible, minor minute details, like I said can be improved on. I got this product because I am a gamer, and like most sit in my gaming chair for long periods of time above I'm sure average adult does. The chair I own is 2020 Secret Labs chair, and during this stage of development the company had not created a more ergonomic or comfortable armrest like the newer 2023 models, that now have an option (though don't ship to May) memory foam arm rests. When I first saw those I figured one waiting to May isn't ideal, and two they were only compatible with the newer model chair and not the older model so that presented to me the solution of Amazon shopping. I cam across these, because they are fairly priced and the manufacturing symbol actually matches my chair (which is Cloud 9 team chair). So perfect, I received the item yesterday and let me tell you they are great. The memory foam as just enough firmness, and give as well as a soft outside cover. I play with a controller so my rests are always angled inward and my elbows rest on them. This product was definitely worth it, and I can see myself having these for a very long time. Now the only issue I have, is that both cushions have different length straps, so one pad is longer than the other, for whatever odd reason. It's like whomever put these together, or whatever machine did had not measured out the lengths. It's definitely not a hinderance since you can fold them in on themselves, and tuck them away. But it is annoying because they don't stick to themselves perfectly. The other improvement would to make these a little longer, because some armrests are longer than others and sometimes we shift our elbows back and forth, it's probably a half an inch on either side shorter than my armrests are but also being longer, they can at least strap flat against the bottom part of the arm rest. In conclusion, I would recommend this product. Especially for gaming chairs, and long hours in front of a computer or monitor, even if your job requires you to sit at a computer all day. That would be square. Gaming chairs do offer different positions of the arm rest and a button that will slide it back and forth and angle it inside which makes these great because they're strapped so you have full access.

These are perfect for people like me who destroy the chair's original armrest. They are made of this foam-like material that kept breaking off... so I duct taped them. Which means that my elbows get sticky when the duct tape moves. It's really annoying. Problem solved with these cushions. They are WAY more comfortable, they fit perfectly, and you can tighten them as much or as little as you need. I just cut off the extra velcro after tightening. No more sticky elbows and MUCH more comfortable than the original padding.

The velcro bands that attach it to the chair however, are very irritating if you bump into them. They also don't secure the pads very well. I'd suggest using a plastic/rubber zip tie type of strap to connect it. More secure and less likely to snag clothing.

Bought these for my gaming chair. I have a nice gaming chair but, after a while, the elbow brackets on the chair would really start to bother me. I was thinking of making my own set but then found these on Amazon. Strapped them on and a total game changer!!! I can rest my elbows on these for hours and never notice any discomfort. (You wouldn't think something this simple would really make a difference but it does!) If I had one critique it would be that I wish these were a little more stiffer as, after a while, the weight of your elbows tends to push these down too much. Even still, having the foam squeezed thin is still better than not having these at all. Definitely recommend. Fair price, easy to strap to the chair and they stay securely in place.

The arm rests are very cushy, but unusable as the plastic latch used to velcro them onto the chair broke when putting them on. Unusable for the purpose without a different attachment mechanism. Edited: The company followed up with me and send a replacement set. The new set has much sturdier latches and velcro and is working well. The new ones aren't quite as cushy but they are fully functional and do what I needed.

This is a great product, 5 stars, but aesthetically they are a little see-through. You can actually see the gel pads from the top. As far as function and comfort, these are great. They stay cool and are a game-changer for long days in front of the computer.
