My husband is a proud over-the-road, long-distance truck driver who often deals with seat discomfort during his long hauls. Wanting to help ease his lower back pain, I took the initiative to research memory foam seat cushions that could provide real comfort and support. After nearly two years of searching and comparing options, I decided on the Upgraded Everlasting Comfort Memory Foam Seat Cushion. What set it apart was its 3-inch thickness—thicker than its 2-inch predecessor and most current competitors. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if he’d actually use it, but to my surprise, he loves it! He’s noticed a significant difference in his comfort level on the road. The only downside is that the cushion seems designed primarily for office chairs—it could use a bit more width and length to better fit vehicle seats. That said, there really isn’t a comparable product out there tailored specifically for truck seats, and this one gets the job done. He’s even started recommending it to his fellow truckers, which says a lot. If you're a driver looking for some relief, this cushion might be worth a try.

Good Quality, Not Right Fit For Me

I bought the Everlasting seat cushion because of its great reviews and the fact that it’s doctor-recommended for back and tailbone support. The cut-out design is smart — it’s meant to relieve pressure on the tailbone, and the memory foam feels high-quality and soft. The cover is also nice and easy to remove for cleaning. That said, it just didn’t work as well for me personally. I was hoping for more noticeable relief for my lower back pain, but after using it for several days, I didn’t feel much difference. Also, the cushion is thicker than I expected, which raised my chair height and made sitting a little awkward. It also slid around more than I liked, so I had to keep adjusting it. Overall, it’s a well-made cushion and probably works great for some people — just not the right fit for my back needs, so I returned it.

5 stars for a 14 hour car trip ( straight shot!)

I got this as we frequently drive long distances in a straight shot (made the 14 hour trip home from Canada last night, and the trip up there 5 days prior) I found this to be amazing for my needs ( chronic back,hip, and tailbone issues). I am a small person ( 5’2 130 pounds) and thought the size was good. Someone much larger may feel it’s too small or doesn’t provide the support they might need. I do have to constantly adjust, but I have to do that in ANY seat. Those are my issues. But I can not IMAGINE making that trip WITHOUT it! It’s especially nice on bumpy or uneven terrain. It is memory foam, so if it is colder, it will be super firm at first. It does warm up and soften up after a few minutes. I would buy it again with ZERO hesitation!

Hard edges, not wide enough, caused extreme tailbone pain

I have a S.I. joint dysfunction and chronic tailbone pain. I tried the executive version of this but it's not wide enough for my needs and the foam was way too hard with very little give, particularly on the high edges. This caused even worse tailbone pain for me, to the point I had to use my high-pain day meds. It also left dents on backside of thighs that fibromyalgia made hurt too. I've gone back to my purple cushion instead, with my roho on standby..although at this point, everything hurts unless I'm laying down. But I really, really hurt when trying to use this cushion. I got this based on the 5 star reviews and I miss Fakespot that Mozilla just shut down, because it used to tell me if those 5 star reviews were inflated and it doesn't seem Amazon keeps track of this as long as stuff sells. So this cushion probably great for some people but I'm not one of them. If you have tailbone pain or S.I. joint dysfunction: BUYER BEWARE.

The seat cushion is very comfortable the only problem is I drive a hilo and the seat is leather. The cushion keeps sliding I have to constantly keep adjusting it throughout the day I'm going to buy those grippers that go in the cabinet for glasses and just glue it to the bottom

Excellent 3” cushion for coccyx/tailbone pain relief and healing

Everlasting Comfort 3” gel cushion. Excellent for coccyx/tailbone pain relief and healing. Hospice nurse and home health aide advised we get a gel cushion to help heal a coccyx/tailbone bedsore that developed during a hospital stay. The reviews on this particular cushion, and the 3” depth, convinced us to get it for the family member. It has been wonderful for the patient. The coccyx/tailbone has completely healed in the past three weeks of use, and the patient says it feels like the tailbone is floating and not touching anything. Instant relief, no pressure, no pain. Highly recommend. The hospice nurse is recommending to the main office that they include information about this cushion on their website.

Great for office bad for plane

Great for my office chair I love it and have been using it for months. Plane ride was a recent thing I tried. I tried to do it for a 4 hour flight and it was a no go. Im 5’4” and felt like it made me to tall and misaligned my back to the backseat contour. The seats are also tilted on the plane so when this kept sliding back it just added a lot of pain vs helping. I only tried it once so I dont know if it was that specific airline/user error. TLDR 1000% yes to office chair. Do not recommend for planes.
