My daughter is 7 and this was a gift of her own choosing. Because she hasn't learned the standing mode yet, we assembled the seat (incidental) for the first time. The assembly process was quick and was done in 15 minutes. I couldn't wait to play in the living room. At first, I was worried that the tires would leave scars on my floor. My worries were unnecessary. It's rubber and has some shock absorption. With cool LED lights. We've been in the park for a long time and I'm very pleased with its battery life, with over 10 miles of riding (I'm 167lbs + my daughter's 62lbs) and it still has power. She ran out of electricity the next day. It's amazing. Once we learn the stand mode, I'll consider buying another one to ride with my daughter. I would find it more interesting that way... ... show more

    • Broke after less than a day
My daughter was so excited to get this on Xmas morning from Santa . We charged it over night so it would be ready to go for her in the morning. She rode it around the house for a while and then out in the street for less than an hour. The thing died so we just assumed it needed to be charged. After charging for a couple of hours she tried it again. Nothing. Stupid thing turned on with a chime and that was it. Contacted Amazon and they said I needed to contact the seller. Contacted the seller and after sending them a description of what it was doing, they asked for a video. I tried sending them a video in the chat link where they requested it but wasn’t able to send such a large file so I had to ask them for an email address. Was finally able to send the video via email and they responded asking for my address and said I would be getting a refund and probably wouldn’t need to return the defective hover board. . I provided my address and asked for clarification because it didn’t make sense to me that they needed an address to issue a refund. Their response to THAT email was to let me know that they couldn’t help me and that I needed to contact Amazon for a refund. (Which is where I started to begin with) 😡 Mind you, this all happened over a week’s time because of going back and forth via email with the seller. In the end I ended up returning the product just like I would return any other Amazon purchase that didn’t work out. I gave the company the chance to back their product and they completely failed. After I finally received the refund I bought a different hoverboard from a different company through Amazon. So far it is holding up. I would not recommend buying any products from this company. My daughter is 8 years old and the approximate time she lasts playing is 1 hour and a half on flat terrain and sometimes a couple of slopes, from my point of view very good battery, the structure of the machine is very good without any problem. Overall an excellent gift

This is a really fun thing for kids. It is the favorite outside activity! We did have a battery issue after 6 months, but the company was super agreeable to replacing it and communication was excellent. Thank you Evercross!

    • Did not meet expectations at all
Assembly was a nightmare and if you don’t position the seat properly it won’t work. The product didn’t even work over 2 months and it was used at least 15 times. Reached out and requested replacement parts. Received them and then stopped working immediately. Reached out again for troubleshooting only to determine that the battery was dead. They requested a review in return for replacement battery and have been waiting for the replacement batteries over 10 months. It was a Christmas present for my daughter and she wasn’t able to enjoy it. She looks at it and asks what happened with it and I can’t tell her I bought it since it was a gift from Santa. ... show more
