Just bought it for fun! It does works. My next door neighbor and i share the same bedroom wall,and i was told that she had a leakage in between the walls. And to be on the safe side i just got myself one of these. And so it happened! I too have a leakage. Didn’t even noticed the drops dripping. And no water mark stain appeared at all. Technically! It was a recipe for disaster waiting to happen. And my curiosity helped the fact. But! Maybe because i have a dinosaur head,the ear bud part felt really uncomfortable though. This is not a super high quality stethoscope, but at the price I paid, I did not expect it to be. It works fairly well and it is very light weight. I actually bought it for my daughter to play with when she's playing with her doctor toys, but I have to be careful to help her use it because it is very loud whenever something bumps the diaphragm part. I'm concerned that just accidentally hitting that end against a hard surface while the ear pieces are in her ears could damage her hearing. Obviously, yelling into it could damage hearing. I think this could be used by a healthcare professional, but I'm quite sure that there are better functioning models available. I give it a full five stars because it does what it says it will do, and at the very affordable price, I think it's a good value.

I knew this was probably going to be cheap as the price but never tought it was full on a kid sized toy or a prop. Review are confusing because it has high stars, but is due to parents who purchased it as a toy. The ones who convinced me to get it was one whelp said they were a medical student. I know no good professor would tale.this seriously so I am worried if any nurse student is using these. I wanted it to monitor my dogs heart as he has a heart murmur and gets syncope episodes. I need to see if his heart rate is dropping or increasing during that episode. Also to see if the meds are doing their job. However this apparatus has tons of interference and if you use it like you should, no one has a heart beat. But you can hear all other sounds so its good if you want to hear gossip. If you use it backwards and put the metal part on the heart, then you can faintly hear something. On my dog with the murmur it is better as his heart beat is very loud, however there is too much interference to keep me concentrated and I need to count his heart beats per minute. My nephews, 3 and 6 year olds are having a blast pretending they can hear hearts. Save your money. This is not even good to measure Blood pressure. If you need it for a patient or a si lck doggie, then get a better one.

I bought this as a toy for my daughter. It’s pretty, you just need to assemble it. Sound quality is pretty good, you just need to turn the diaphragm so the hole is closed for better sound. The smaller side doesn’t really work. Overall, great for kids play but not for actual hospitals.

This is a great buy for a simple stethoscope for high school students who are taking medical courses. The only problem was Amazon delivery throwing the package on the ground at the entrance to my driveway 1/4 mile from my house. They have to at least try to be more professional like FedEx or UPS if they want more orders from me.

you can barely hear the heartbeat you have to consistently move it around press it friendly. I’m not quite happy with it, but I can still hear the heartbeat eventually once I move around so I guess I will keep it although the heartbeat is quite faint. It’s still there.

In addition i was not able to cancel it when i tried to before its delivery because my mechanic said i no longer needed them. So that wasn't very good however after looking further in my engine because i know about cars as a woman i was able to see that i atleast needed one replaced since he broke it upon screwing it back on. So i ended up needing it anyway. Other than that if you need it before you decide to purchase it verify that you do and make your purchase.

For a child who loves the color purple and stethoscopes this was a great gift. So far it's been played with and has kept its durability with no issues. It actually functions and looks like a doctor's stethoscope, it's not a flimsy plastic toy. Highly recommend!

Bought this for a cosplay, it was easy to assemble and looks like the real deal! That being said, it simply does not work as a real stethoscope. The ear pieces are a little tight, but you can SLOWLY AND GENTLY stretch the curved metal piece open further after assembly for a looser fit, so that's not too big of a deal. Again, I would not buy this if you plan to use it for actual medical training/work. Stick with brands like Littman if you want something that works, I know they're WAY more expensive but you get what you pay for!
