I have a lot of yardwork and a lot of it is in a small forest. I needed something that could get me all over the yard. Keep my feet away from the sharp raspberry bushes and such in the woods and stand up. These boots are exceptional. I needed a new pair and wanted to try this style as opposed to the laces. It comfortable but when I say exact size I mean exact size. I’m a 10.5 and it fits exactly as a 10.5. I wouldn’t be able to wear thick socks with this until well after breaking them in. Buy them in the fall to have them ready by winter. ... show more

Great quality at any price point, but especially for 1/3 the cost of Redwing or Georgia. The sizing is a bit tricky but now I know what size to order for future purchases of this brand. A lot of reviews said to go a size bigger but I didn't want a sloppy fit so I went 1/2 size larger. Normally a 9 so I got 9 1/2 and they fit well. The only issue was getting my heel in at first. I think that was everyone's reason for a larger size. I used a shoe horn to make the transition until the leather relaxed an now it fits great. ... show more
