We have used a same sized pop-up tent for a few years which never fit back in the bag. This takes more time but pitches nicer. We just followed the laminated easy to read directions. I don't have any pictures yet just because we haven't used it for more than a day yet. We did a trial run to make sure it came with all the pieces and holy moly this tent gets DARK! Super easy to set up, much like a basic tent. Quality of the tarp and overall tent material is great. In other words you are getting a good value for the price you pay. After experiencing 70 mph winds in a tent a month ago, it was time to replace the tent. I was looking for one that would be easy to set up & take down, durable, and able to handle some extreme weather conditions. The two rooms work better as just one. Kept us safe & dry this past weekend. We were able to repack everything in the bag. The only thing that I would change is the ability to have ANY amount of light enter the tent. Amazing! I did lots of research when trying to decide what tent to invest in for our family (myself, my husband, 5 year old, 3 year old, 5 month old baby, and our dog). I contemplated not getting a blackout tent because it felt a bit extra, but it was definitely the right choice! Our older kids slept past 8am every day and our baby slept until 10/11am. Naptime was easy because the tent is super dark during the day too. Our other family members at our camping trip called it "tent mahal" >o< My only complaint, which really is a plus, is that it's so tall! I'm 5'6" and couldn't reach to hang our lantern from the hook in the middle of the tent. It stormed our first night and we had no issues with water (we had a tarp beneath the tent, but it was too small and didn't cover the entire footprint). The overall quality is great and I look forward to using this for many years. Great value for the money. If I saw this tent at REI, I would expect it to be more than double the price. ... show more

Wonderfully spacious - you can stand up everywhere. Be sure to pay attention to the order in which you assemble the roof poles, and double-check that you have the right poles on the sides. Awesome tent, love how cool it keeps it inside. Im a tent camping type of person but I hate how hot it gets inside of one in the mornings when the sun comes up. But this tent does away with That problem. I had a late night one night and slept in one morning…. I woke up, I thought it was still nighttime.
