With three kids, this is the best infant carseat I've ever had. The swivel makes it easy to get baby in and out. It is quick and easy to install and works with the Evenflo stroller. Only reason it is not a 5 is because it is heavy. Good for safety but heavy to carry around with baby.

Not perfect, but it does the job. It’s not too difficult getting even a newborn in safely. I love being able to turn the seat to get the baby in and out. However, the safe sensor sometimes gives unnecessary or actually wrong warnings. I do wish it fit with a lighter weight stroller.

The base of this car seat is very easy to install in comparison to some of the other seats I've used in the past. The clips come right out of the base after you lift it up, connect them to the LATCH system, and you're done. Then, the car seat easily slips into the base and releases with a single push latch on the back of the seat. The rotation is easy to operate one handed, and the button is on both sides of the car seat so you can install it on the passenger or drivers side just the same. Obviously, you will want to place this in a seat other than the middle so you can use the swivel feature. Also note, if you have these 3 wide you may not be able to use the swivel feature depending on the width of your overall seat and your other car seats. I do not love the release mechanism for the handle on the car seat itself - the release is too far back and is hard to operate. In addition, I wish the handle went all the way flat / at a 210 degree angle so it could prop the car seat from moving when you set it down. Otherwise I really like this unit and at $320 price I think it is worth it. ... show more

Man, have car seats come a long way in the last few years! Our first was a Graco Sungride Click Connect seat, and this thing is like an amazing improvement from it. The first thing I can comment on is how much easier this base is to install and get to stay tight in a car that does not have a latch system hookup. It has this "lockstrong" system where you run the belt through the middle of the base, then click the base closed, which puts a ton of tension on belt and gets it very tight without having to put yourself on top of the base to get the seatbelt tight. This is an awesome feature! The second thing I love is how the base rotates to allow for easy access to get the carrier out of the base or to check on baby during stops on road trips, etc. Once the carrier is locked into the car base, you simply push the big grey button and it rotates up to 180 degrees! You can spin the base to remove the carrier, which makes it easier to pull straight out instead of having to lift over the supports like I did on our old carrier and base combo! The carrier locks securely into the base every time without issue and holds very securely. I have zero concerns about the stability of the combo even with the rotation ability. This is a great carrier and base combo. It's a bit on the pricier side for a mainstream carrier, but it's well worth the money. It's insanely easy to install, is built very well and works great!
