This is so convenient and so comfy for my 19 month old. It offers a snug fit, is adjustable and after figuring out the rocket science between the base and how it all connects and installs in the car, it’s easy. It is nothing like the car seats of the past that my older kids had. It’s sturdy and secure. The one annoying thing about it is that sometimes the sensor goes a little haywire insane and sends a million alerts about “child in car!” When the child isn’t in the car, and “critical ambient temperature”, as the AC is blasting and the child is comfortable, the alerts are such a great idea and safety mechanism, but they have way too many false alarms which is like “the boy who cried wolf”, I’m to the point of ignoring the alerts, because my child is never left behind in the car or overheating.. but what if one day it’s not a false alarm? I LOVE this car seat. We got an excellent deal on Black Friday combined with our baby registry discount. Purchased when our daughter was 18 months old. We started out with the Evenflo pivot travel system, which we also loved. She actually still fits in the Evenflo pivot car seat, though not for much longer. The swivel is so easy and convenient to use. I have a very small car (Toyota Prius C) and it fits in my backseat pretty well. The swivel makes it so much easier to get my daughter in and out of my small car. I love that the seat comes off the base for installation, it made it much easier. The cover zips off for washing, kind of a pain in the butt to do in my small car but still doable. This thing will last us for ages, likely until she grows out of needing a car seat! I love the panel for extended rear facing, I plan on rear facing as long as I can. I was even able to flip the seat to forward facing and use it for my nieces (ages 4 and 6) at different times. It’s a tough and sturdy seat. I don’t usually use the app, it can get annoying on a road trip. I do think that if this is the car seat you’re buying to use from newborn age, the app is much more useful! I think I would have liked this feature in our travel system to help my anxiety about forgetting baby in the car. It lets you know the temperature in the seat, if the baby has been buckled in too long, if you walk away from your car leaving the baby buckled in. It’s a great feature to have for a new baby. 10/10 would buy again. I love Evenflo products, we used their bottles and the pivot travel system (still use the stroller), and now this car seat. ... show more

This is a great Child car seat. The swivel function makes it very easy to get my four year-old grandson in in and out of the backseat. And it is very easy to remove, and then reinstall. Correctly installed, I feel confident my grandson is well protected by this car seat.

My little man looks so comfy in this. It is nice and works well so far. It is easy to use. We got it for our truck. Normally I have to stand on the running board to put him in the car seat, but since this rotates, it helps things go way more smoothly. .

I have two of these in my SUV. They are very bulky but fairly easy to install. The perk of rotating the seat to put a frustrated toddler in makes it well worth the cost. I have an older version as well as the new one. The new one has some nice improvements (such as the seat lock). Would recommend.

Great seat, works as described and is super convenient in terms of functionality -- being able to rotate it helps put the toddler in. It's also easy to strap the toddler in given how smooth the locks work. However, there are a few issues that troubled me: 1. Installation is easy, but complicated. It seems contradictory but it's true -- if you look at a tutorial first, the seat is easy to install and the process is actually much easier than that of a common brand of seats because you don't have to use force to tension the straps. BUT there is NO way you can figure out how to do it intuitively without looking it up, so be prepared. 2. Build quality: the rattling or the plastic handle at the top was so annoying that I was considering returning the seat. It rattles even when I drive at very slow speed. I ended up figuring out the cause and just jammed a piece of cardboard there (see the photo attached) and it solved the problem. 3. The straps keep getting twisted. They still work but they are not proving surface area to the baby anymore and they keep having to be untwisted. Quite annoying. They don't really tangle with each other but just kinda get into ta thin string and it's not easy to fix. ... show more
