I am so beyond disappointed in this product. The temperature in my house is extremely unbearable. I'm in Central Florida and my central air conditioner gave out last year, and I can't afford to get it fixed yet so I've just been getting by. Last summer I had two wall AC units installed that barely kept me going. This year the temperature has been scorching already with temperatures outside well over 90s, feels like temps at 100 in the shade, the sun baking the side of my house most of the day, the UV index at 10 on multiple days, and the humidity levels high. Even with my two wall ac units, my 1100 sq foot concrete block home still managed to reach over 90° the other day, so I took the chance and ordered this cooling air fan, as I don't have another window I can install a window ac. I've tried multiple things to get this to blow cold air, and all it does is move around the hot air in the room. As soon as I received the unit, I prepared the four ice packs as per the directions. You fill them with water to a specific line and gently tilt them back and forth until the particles in the water dissipate and form a gel. Then I put them in the freezer for several hours. While I was waiting for them to get frozen, I went ahead and used a large frozen block of ice that I had already made. I placed the ice block in the water reservoir and filled the rest of the chamber with cold water from the fridge and turned it on. It never blew cold air. It also never seems to drain any of the water from the reservoir. It was still on the "7" a full day later, which is where I filled it up to. The other thing that seems to be an issue is when the water reservoir plastic tank is full of ice and water, it "bows" outward towards the back at the bottom but is held in the unit with a small lever at the top of the reservoir, even though it is on a flat surface. There is a gap of about 8 mm at the bottom of the reservoir that I can't seem to fix. It doesn't seem like that would be a big issue though. There has to be something wrong with the mechanism that draws up the water into the unit and pushes it out with the air it's blowing. I'm wondering if something got jostled loose en route to me but I'm not "techie" enough to be able to troubleshoot that part. That's very disappointing because even after several hours of running, it only brought the temperature down from 92 to 90 degrees, and I think that was because the sun went down. This is going to be very difficult for me to return since I am disabled. It's also going to be a hardship since I'm on a fixed income, to spend the gas money to get somewhere to mail this back. If you are needing something specifically to cool you down, just be aware this product may not be reliable for you like it was not for me.

This portable air cooler works really well for personal cooling and small spaces. The airflow is strong, and I like that it has multiple modes and fan speeds to choose from. It cools noticeably better when adding cold water or ice, and the remote control makes it very convenient to use at night. The design looks modern and doesn’t take up much space. It’s also much quieter than I expected on the lower settings. Overall, very good value for the price and perfect for my bedroom

I am very disappointed with this product. It absolutely does not perform as marketed. The unit itself is much smaller than expected, and the fan is incredibly weak—it barely pushes any air out, let alone enough to provide a breeze. Even after adding the ice pack as instructed, there is zero noticeable cooling effect. It feels no different than a small, low-quality desk fan, and it certainly does not function as an effective air cooler. I would not recommend this product to anyone; it is a waste of money.

It seems to work ok, my biggest issue is the instructions are poorly written and nowhere does it tell you of the 4 modes (D1, D2, etc), which mode letter/number does what. I have not tried the ice packs yet, am using it for the first time as a fan/humidifier? I think that’s the mode I’m in, because after pushing through the mode screen I heard water running, so I assume I activated the humidifier mode with the fan. I live in the desert SW so anything helps. So far I’d say it’s an overpriced floor fan.

This may be the worst thing I’ve ever purchased. As I was assembling the base, I noticed dirt on the bottom. The rest of the packaging seemed untouched so I ignored it. But it’s a complete waste of money. It blows warm air even with ice packs and cold water in the tank. Even if you just use it as a straight up fan, it’s weak and barely has any movement. The entire thing is very flimsy plastic. I can’t even open the battery compartment on the remote so that’s useless. Now I have to take it apart, repackage it, and deal with the gigantic box in my house for who knows how long. Please don’t bother with this thing.
