I rarely write reviews, and I’ve bought a number of jean jackets in my life for myself and my daughter, but this is by far my favorite. I’d definitely buy it again if I lost this one. It’s thick enough to give it the right jean jacket look, but feels so much softer than other ones out there. I’ve had people feel it and say, “oh it’s soft, it looks like it wouldn’t be.” Bc that’s how most jean jackets are and why I’ve struggled with them before, but this one gives you the expected look while still being able to move freely. I got the sky blue and find it goes so well with a lot of my spring dresses. I’ve washed it and it looks the same, however I hang dry most things and did the same with this, and I was surprised how soft it still was bc that’s when jean jackets get even stiffer in my experience. It’s not baggy nor fitted; I think it’s the perfect fit for the style I was looking for and I’ve gotten compliments from more people on this jacket than most of my clothing items. I am writing this bc I truly love this jacket and want other people to love it too. This denim jacket is really cute and the color/wash is even nicer in person than online. It’s got that relaxed, slightly oversized vibe that works great over dresses or with casual outfits. The material feels durable but still soft enough to move in, and the frayed hem adds a fun touch. My only small gripe is that the fit on me was a little boxier than I expected in the shoulders, so it didn’t end up being my go-to layer. I have this jacket in black, medium blue and the lighter blue and am seriously considering the grey and white! There is nothing so versatile as this denim jacket to add to my collection. I love the distressed look because it gives the jacket a “edgy” look and feel. Once out of the package and washed the material settles in to a nice softness. They fraying is done well enough that it doesn’t unravel or deconstruct after wearing or laundering. I am 5”11 170lbs and wear an XL. I could get away with a L but I love to layer a hoodie underneath quite often. I would definitely size according to how you wear your jackets as there is a slight stretch to it. The overall fit is comfortable and gives you that long loved jean jacket feel. A great value for the money and highly recommended. It is absolutely perfect the material is soft so you don't feel all boxed in like I do in any other jean jacket. I got a small and it fits perfect but did shrink some when I washed it but after it dried I just stretched it out and now it fits back like it did when I got it. I love the jacket overall. I would have given it 5 stars but it has NO tags in it or on it to verify the size. It looked like it may have had a tag inside and was cut out. I am not sure if I got a new jacket or a returned jacket. I ordered a 2XL in Iceland blue and love the color but normally I would wear an XL in any other jacket but I sized up to have a roomier feel and because some reviews mentioned to size up.
