It is mostly true to size, except the sleeves are cut too slim. This isn’t a jacket you would want to wear as a shirt, due to the thickness and the feel of the fabric, but the width of the sleeves don’t allow enough room to wear a sleeved garment underneath. I ordered a medium as the photos looked like it might fit big. I normally wear a large. The medium fits just right if you like a good fit in the shoulders and not too baggy. If you like a very loose fit, order a large. The length is as shown and I was most impressed with the quality! It is light weight but very warm and it DOESN'T WRINKLE when you sit in your car, etc!! Once I received it and fluffed it up in the dryer for a few minutes. it hasn't wrinkled since. The only thing that I wish manufacturers (not only this one) would do is sew or tack the inside front seams. I will order more! ... show more

This shacket actually has snaps eventhough the description says button. The fabric is thick, as for outerwear, and itchy on the skin. The sleeves are long on me and I am 5’9” tall and have long arms. The length hits me about six inches above the knee. I ordered the size according to measurements shown in description, and seems to run a bit small, especially for an outer layer piece that should be worn with under pieces.
