I purchased this nugget ice maker for my 12 year old son who LOVES to eat ice and it’s been a great addition to the kitchen. The pebble ice it makes is soft and chewable, just like the kind you get at restaurants. It produces ice quickly and keeps up well with regular use. The 40 lbs per day capacity is more than enough for daily drinks or small gatherings. I love the ease and quality of the nugget ice that this little machine makes, and we use it on a daily basis. All you need to do is add water to the reservoir and it does the rest! Our first machine did quit working after several months, but I reached out to their customer service team at EUHOMY which impressed me even more than the actual product. They responded to my email right away. We did some troubleshooting that did not fix the issue at which time they promptly sent me a new unit that is working beautifully. They even followed up once we received the item to make sure it was working properly. Not many companies stand behind their products anymore or honor their warranties, but EUHOMY does and their customer service is excellent.

This is the 3rd ice machine I've purchased from EUHOMY, and unfortunately, my experience has gone downhill with each newer model. A little background: I bought my first EUHOMY ice machine in 2025 for my office, and it has been AMAZING. It starts producing pebble ice within about 5–7 minutes, fills the basket quickly, shuts off when it's supposed to, and has been an absolute workhorse. I love it! My second machine was a completely different story. It never shut off—it just kept running and running while barely producing any ice. It was nothing like my first machine. I honestly thought it might have had a refrigerant issue or some other defect, so I returned it. Now for my third purchase... I thought, "It's a newer model, so it has to be even better." I was wrong. Very, very wrong. My biggest complaints: 1. Poor lid/design. Every time you open the lid, ice falls out the front because of the way it's designed. Then, when you scoop ice (which is exactly what everyone buying an ice machine is going to do), even more ice spills onto the counter. It's a messy design that should have been caught before this model was released. 2. It makes more crushed ice than pebble ice. I understand no machine will produce perfectly uniform ice every time, but this machine produces far more crushed ice than actual pebble ice. That's not what I expected or wanted. 3. It doesn't keep the ice as well as my original machine. My first EUHOMY model held the ice much better. This one melts down much faster, and overall the performance just isn't comparable. What I don't understand is how the newer models perform worse than the older one. My original machine is proof that EUHOMY knows how to build an excellent pebble ice maker. I would gladly buy that exact model again...except they don't make it anymore. It's incredibly disappointing because I know this company is capable of making a fantastic product—I own one! Unfortunately, the newer models just haven't lived up to that standard. I really wish they would bring the original design back.

I’ve had this for four years. I absolutely love it! Whenever I walk by and it’s full I just put some ice in a Ziploc bag in the freezer. That way when we head out to the lake, we always have ice to throw in our little coolers. Saves me a lot of time by not having to go to the store and also saves me money. So far it’s held up great too.

Let me start by saying that this does not make sonic type ice. At all. I may have been asking too much, but it just does not. That being said, the ice it makes is more chewable even than the crushed ice from my fridge. I haven't ever tried any other nugget ice makers, so I don't know if it's actually possible to get one that makes ice just like Sonic, but I guess this will do. Sonic ice seems to me like tiny little crystals with air mixed in. This is more like really compacted slush. It is more chewable but the texture really isn't anything similar, in my opinion. Knowing this, I think I would have gone for a cheaper model just to see what they were like. You can get much cheaper ones and maybe they make ice more like Sonic, I don't know. I do like that I can connect this to my phone whoop-dee-doo. On that note, and the manual where it says to push the button three times, what it means is push the button three times really fast. If you just push it three times, it's not going to work. It probably took me 10 minutes to figure out that I needed to push the button faster. Over all it's a nice machine. 8 am very happy with how quiet it is, the light inside is nice and I love that I can program it to start and stop at certain times. I will always wonder though, if there's a machine out there that makes true Sonic type ice.

This little nugget ice maker so far has outlasted ALL of my previous bullet ice makers. Hope it continues! But if you thought they had all the little things worked out on this more $$ model, you might be wrong. I like that it can be programmed for ice making times. But what I really want is an ice maker that can be turned on with any wifi switch and just start making ice (NONE of them will do that). You have to program it in the app or push the button manually. I like that the top easily removes for cleaning. Ice makers do get 'funky' unless your water is perfect! So being able to clean all the nooks is nice. I don't like that every time you try to remove the ice bucket it hangs up on the lid hinges. Must learn to remove a certain way. The little 'hook' to hold the scooper is an interesting feature but I'd prefer the scoop to store properly _inside_ the ice bin, not outside.

Great ice maker. Makes ice quickly and I love the quality of the ice. I am the only one that uses it so not sure it could keep up if there are multiple people needing ice at the same time? It makes a bit of noise but we got use to it and don’t even notice it anymore. Blends in and fits on the counter without taking up a lot of space. We do have to pull it out if we need to open the cover all the way so it stays open on its own because it hits the cabinets above it. But I usually just hold it open with one hand and scoop with the other. The hook on the side is handy for storing the ice scoop. The basket doesn’t get completely full before it stops making ice because the ice stacks up in the middle making the machine think it’s full but if you knock the ice down it continues making more ice. I have not used the app so I can’t say how well that works. A bit pricey for the amount of ice you get but it works better than the two I had previously and does seem to stay cleaner than they did as well. The one I had before would constantly get moldy after every use even after cleaning it constantly and I live in a very dry climate. I have not had that issue with this one at all.
