I bought this to help combat the Vegas heat. It’s no louder than your typical ac unit, it cooled down everything in a matter of seconds. It gets so cold that I need to turn it off, and that’s with the dead heat in Vegas during the summer! Best affordable portable ac unit I’ve had by far. UPDATE: 07/02 Well.. it just stopped blowing cold air completely. Now it just blows ridiculously hot air out no matter what the setting. Pretty bummed because I loved how worked at first but now it’s just getting hotter where I live and the heat from this unit isn’t helping. Update July 08, 2023 Customer service was amazing. I told them the issues with my unit and with in 3 days my replacement arrived, it arrived a bit damaged but I’ll see how the unit runs, I’m just very satisfied with how quick they responded.     • Works pretty good
It works pretty good, but when set at same temp as a different brand it's not as cold. Unfortunately I wouldn't buy it again due to this reason, and it's heavier than the one that runs cooler at same temp.

Very compact in size considering the BTU's and cooling capacity. Was simple to set up and will work on different window types. I had it out of the box and running in 15 minutes. Great cooling off on those hot summer days. Also acts as a dehumidifier or air conditioner cooler. I run mine on both low and high fan settings and it is not too noisy. Over all it was a great purchase and economically priced. I did contact the Customer Service Department with a question and they were prompt in answering and provided me with the answer I needed.     • Not as good as I thought it was
This air conditioner started off good. Everything worked fine. A month later the lcd screen doesn't work and it's noisy. I guess you get what you pay for. If it wasn't for the remote having an lcd I would have no idea what the temperature is.

I was a little skeptical about buying this because I wasn’t sure it would cool off an entire room. It kept our bedroom cool throughout the entire summer and comes with a remote & automatic timer setting! Worked out perfectly

The media could not be loaded. The item is very heavy but it’s a nice air conditioner very easy to put together and my room is a 5 x 8. The air conditioner is very very cold. I like the product thumbs up.

    • Cooling option seems to work well.
So far, the unit is doing what it is designed to do. I haven't tried the dehumidifier or the fan. I've just been using the air. It does seem to put off a lot of heat in the exhaust, so I recommend placing it as close to the window as you can or you will have a hot spot in the room. And it isn't the quietest unit I've heard, but it doesn't keep me awake at night, so I guess it's acceptable. The attached wheels are terrific. I wretched my back getting it into my rv and setting it up, so the last thing I would have wanted to do was try to drag it around the place! Overall, I am pleased with it. ... show more

    • Immediately leaked everywhere
Within 10 hours of hooking it up, I had a floor of water. The tube for the water is only two feet long so it cannot be connected to a window like the exhaust, so I placed it in a small tub just in case, and by the morning it had overflowed with water. I am not sure what the strategy for this was-- the manual says to empty the tank periodically, but this unit seems to leak immediately-- and with a lot of water-- which makes it not very "portable" since you need it positioned very near a window to make sure the little tube releases outside. Also the tube doesn't perfectly fix around the nozzle on the back to it leaks water that way too. The noise was INSANELY LOUD. I could not hear anything on the TV with it on.
