I struggled finding a good security camera system. I wanted cameras that were wireless and had wifi, but good quality video, and saw far enough. All the other ones I tried couldn't record things on the street from my front porch. This one sees far enough for me. It's SUPER easy set up, look nice and clean and simple, and they're good. The video quality isn't amazing, especially the further out it is, but it's good enough to see faces and details and license plates and stuff. My biggest complaints I'd say is that the motion goes from seeing nothing to seeing EVERY SINGLE movement. So that's a bit annoying. Also sometimes it'll be late to alert me, so in a real emergency I could lose precious moments. Actually thinking, the app is the worst part. It's still good, but that's the biggest problem they have. It alerts late sometimes, it's slow, sometimes I have to close the app and reopen in order to see the events of the day. Also the batteries. Now, I have my motions turned on high for most of mine for many reasons, and they record for as long as there is movement, so I get it, but I get like 3 weeks of times on most of my cameras. No terrible, but certainly not as long as it advertises. But again that may be because of my settings. Bottom line, they're good cameras, I bought more and if I needed more I'd get more, and I would recommend Eufy to others. PS, so far I have seen raccoons and deer in my yard, and a man peeing in my bushes. So, that's cool. ... show more

    • I really wanted these cameras to work but.......

I really wanted the Eufycam 2c camera system to work. They were to be replacements for my current Arlo system. The units were simple to set up and programming was seamless. The system worker perfectly the first day. I was extremely excited about the picture and video quality. The system lag is much quicker than Arlo. The hard drive is perfect and eliminates the need for the cloud. After the first 24 hours the motion detection system stopped working or was only working very intermittently. Nothing seems to trigger the cameras to record I have tried every camera angle and height setting, nothing has worked. I have moved my hand within inches of the sensor but no trigger of the camera. I checked online and this is a serious problem with many units. I do not know a fix for the problem and apparently Anchor doesn’t either. I regret to say I will be returning the system for a refund and purchase another Arlo system. This was a good idea but not ready for primetime. Update: After working with Eufycam’s excellent IT support we were successful in making this camera system function flawlessly. There are no dead spots and zero missed videos. I have the detection settings set in 4 and they catch everything. This is what I imagined they would do when I first purchased them. The IT communication was very quick and effective. I am accustomed to waiting 4 or more days with Arlo. Eufy was almost immediate and very helpful. This is the system I was looking for. I have became totally disillusioned with Arlo and was planning to install a wired system. Now I don’t have to do so. I love this system and highly recommend them. Now I can expand my system to Up to 16 cameras and not be charged Arlo’s exorbitant fees. Thank you Eufycam for working with me and making this system so effective and helping me dump the Arlos. I have changed the rating from 1 star to 5 stars. They work perfectly and I highly recommend this system. ... show more

I've been wanting a system for 3 years. I tried the ring but it never made it out of the box, install was too complicated for my tech skill level 😂. Then I fell for the Arlo products at my cousins beach house. But in the end, I don't want a monthly fee and I can't escape that by using my own cloud for storage like she did, because I don't cloud. Then last month I found this. It checked all of my boxes, in the description at least. So when it went on sale I bought it. It sat on my kitchen counter for a month. Then someone creeped on my daughter's porch with a flashlight and my husband real quick prioritized the install so we could see if it would work at her house. Within two days, I'd ordered another one and it was delivered to her house. She loves it. It's so easy to install. No drilling, no 258 page install booklet, no wires! I watched my husband hook ours up, so I was able to help hook my daughter's up with her. I flew in to see my mother this week and as I checked my phone to see my dog pee on the backyard camera at my house back home, she was intrigued. I said mom, it's so easy and so awesome! She's living alone and ordered $15 solar motion lights for the garden. I told her she would have to be looking out the window to see them light up, she saw the beauty of this idea. I ordered it and requested next day delivery and tonight, I installed it. The 4th camera is still charging but I set the whole system up on her phone and set her cameras outside in under two hours. (hubby is techy and did ours in 30 minutes, including a break to play fetch with the dog) I can't turn on a laptop without one of my teens around so that's really saying something. This unit is designed for dummies! And I really appreciate that. 😂 So in under 5 weeks I've actually purchased 3 of these "4pk camera with homebase" systems. If I could give it 10/10 stars I would. 👍👍👍👍 Mom went upstairs to bed twenty minutes ago. I just ran outside to get something out of my trunk. She got a notice on her phone that someone was at her front door. She just called to ask if I locked the door when I came back in 😂😂😂 I guess it's working.
