The kittens love the toy but the rubber band type string isn't very durable. The kittens will chew through it in no time if left unattended and when they get a hold on the toy, may get hurt when the rubber band string is stretched and then let go. The light color one had cat it in the body. It’s now all over my living room floor. The length includes the tail. These are very small and not what I thought I ordered. My cat LOVES these toys and I wanted to buy more. I got these on sale and then received an email that my order was canceled bc they were out of stock. Of course I went back to check and they were still available so I reordered but paid $2 more bc they screwed me over. 2 weeks later the price is hiked again so seems a bit suspect.
