Overall review (5-star):I've only had it for two days and I am all in. Pros: Setup with the app was very easy. Data between app & scale is accurate. Scale is easy to operate and very very quick to register anything you place on it and LED is easy to readšŸ‘šŸ½šŸ‘šŸ½(see pic). Scale is perfect size & light weight. Brushed chrome matches my appliances, my preference. More than I ever thought I'd spend on a food scale, but I considered my health journey is worth the money to achieve my goal. Plus, I've spent more in a restaurant on food that wasn't really healthy, so can't be a cheapo on the bigger picture šŸ˜Š. Cons(4-star): My only complaint, hence my 4-star is, I don't seem to have a single product that the bar code recognizes when scanning and my food items can be found in most stores. However, I can take a pic of the nutrition label which registers all details accurately, but then I have to take a pic of the front of the product, fat-finger in the name of the product and brand. This thing works great! My girlfriend loves it it has accurate measurements and the touchscreen is easy to use and intuitive! It takes a couple AAA batteries but they last a long time! Item is also super thing and easy to store!

The display is clear, and itā€™s simple to clean and store. The only downside is that it doesnā€™t pick up extremely light items, like my matcha powder, which I was hoping to measure more precisely. I purchased this scale to accurately weigh my meals, and itā€™s been great. The small size and flat profile donā€™t take up much space in my kitchen, and the stainless steel top plate matches my dĆ©cor and is super easy to clean. I use it for multiple dogs as well as for myself, so I prefer that it doesnā€™t include a bowl. I have recorded weights for each empty dog bowl, the target food weight for each meal, and the total filled weight. When I place a bowl on the scale, I quickly check that it registers the correct empty weight before adding food until I reach the total meal weight ā€” very efficient. Because I feed raw, a scale thatā€™s smooth and easy to sanitize with antibacterial wipes is a must. This one fits the bill ā€” no deep seams or tricky spots. The auto-off feature is handy, too. Occasionally Iā€™ll hit a button that sets it to a negative weight (user error!), which is why I always recheck the empty bowl weight ā€” probably a good habit anyway. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable scale thatā€™s easy to use and clean. Iā€™d absolutely buy it again. ... show more

So Much More than a Kitchen Scale - A "Nutrition" Scale. I bought this scale - not to lose weight...although it could be used for that - quite effectively, but to track my Sodium, Calories, Fats, Sugars and overall Daily "LIMITS" levels from the Food I consume. Nothing could work better. ALL the Nutrition DATA is on EVERY product LABEL...from Calories..ALL the way down to mcg. of Vitamins...Potassium..Fiber..etc. the "Killer App" of this scale is that you can SCAN the UPC..."price code" and say 90+% of the time, the EXACT product is found, and uploaded. From then on...take a week to upload your "repeat" food, and anything you add to your diet. If a product is NOT FOUND..you can "create food" and add the nutrition numbers in...it's easy. You can even load a "Taco Bell" Burrito...the nutrition facts are online...easy to find. Ok...Things to note: - You have to "ADD" products to get them in the database...BUT they are easy to DELETE...they say 'swipe right or left" Iphone or Android...but do this instead..."PUSH DOWN" on item...gives you delete. - You can Also add "MEALS"...just make a list of a meal you eat, and click on ... and "Add as a meal"...name it..and it becomes a choice...like a potato. - You can add grams, oz, ml. etc of food 2 ways.. A. Just tare a bowl..weigh food, enter weight.. B. "LIVE" weight....choose a food from your list...with scale ON...and weight/cal..ALL categories "fill in"...save..and it's recorded. Cool Feature Really. - You can search food by typing it in - search database (if not in your data)..or it searches your food so no scrolling. - Sort alphabetically or by "recent" most used..- bummer it doesn't keep your last search criteria. - You can add your age..height weight gender AND DIET you choose...I did DASH..and it gives you Kcal per day...Calories... - BUT..you can go to SETTINGS..and enter your Calorie limit/goal...AND Add limits to EACH category...- ie..I put in the LIMITS daily for DASH...2300 mg SODIUM...Down to 15 mcg Vitamin D.. - Given all this...You can..And I do..MEET ALL your limits per day by entering Breakfast lunch dinner snacks...and as the day goes on..you can "customize" dinner..snacks etc. if you are going to go over a limit. (The one exception is SUGARS..I think this scale counts FRUIT sugars equal to added sugars in processed food IMHO)...watch for that. - Lastly...NUTRITION INFORMATION gives you a rundown of numbers vs limits...and some verbiage on what to do if you blow a limit....green is good..red is over. - Lastly lastly...lll 3 bars gives you daily, weekly, monthly histograms of calories per meal, and Carbs protein fats per day week month breakdown. It's entirely possible to enter EVERYTHING you Eat...but it takes a bit of time commitment. Even if you don't enter everything...or skip days...using it a few times correctly gives you an idea of what you are eating "Numerically". Great product...sturdy..sleek..easy to use...Get One. This works great. I use it in the kitchen all the time for weighing dry ingredients, chocolate, and other things like pieces of dough when I want to make equal portions. I have even weighed meat and other things with it. It works great and the batteries have lasted a very long time. Itā€™s easy to clean and big enough that I have been able to weigh everything I wanted so far. Itā€™s small enough I can fit it in my cabinet but it wouldnā€™t look bad if you left it out all the time too. Looks clean and modern. ... show more
