Our old kitchen scale was starting to show its age, so I wanted to try a new one. This one is appealing because it’s stainless steel, not just for durability, but also for the aesthetic. It looks sleek on the counter, and I appreciate that it’s much smaller than our previous oversized scale. It frees up counter space and is a better size for stuff like weighing coffee. There are several things I like about it. The compact size and stainless steel surface look great, and the display is easy to read. The scale is about the height of a U.S. penny, and plenty large enough for most measuring cups, coffee bags, etc. The tare function is responsive and zeros out quickly, which is important when you’re weighing multiple ingredients. The scale feels sturdy but is still fairly lightweight, so it’s easy to move around the kitchen. It also measures up to 33 pounds, which is far more than I’ll ever need, but it’s nice to know it can handle heavier items if necessary. It came with batteries and a USB plug, though I’m still amused that it works even though I forgot and never installed the batteries. The compartment is empty, yet the scale turns on and weighs just fine. A mystery (or some sort of internal battery.) There are a few downsides. The touch buttons can be finicky and don’t always register on the first tap. This makes me want to press it harder (even though its a touch button) and that ends up causing the scale to register the pressure of my finger (even though its on a button, not the scale surface) as extra weight. I ran into this several times, so this is why I'm deducting a star (you can see what I mean in the video I've attached.) The scale measures only in whole grams, not decimals (most scales don't, but my old one did), so if you’re weighing something very small like a coin, you’ll get rounded numbers rather than precise measurements. It mostly stabilizes well, but if the weight is right on a borderline, around half a gram, it can fluctuate a little before settling. Weighing a quarter, I managed to get the scale to settle both directions, so this doesn't have scientific accuracy (but is good enough for ingredients.) The stainless steel surface and flat button areas upside is that the smooth touch surface means baking ingredients can’t get trapped in crevices and become gross. The listing calls it waterproof, and one product image even shows it being rinsed under water, but another image says not to put it in water, so it’s unclear whether it can actually survive being submerged. For now, I’m sticking to wiping it down. Compared to my old scale, this one is definitely less responsive and the buttons don't always register when I touch them the first time, but this one is also much less expensive and far more functionally sized for everyday kitchen use. For our household, it will work fine. My husband can use it to weigh his fancy coffee beans and other kitchen ingredients, and I’ll use it to weigh items for Amazon reviews. I won’t be using it for coinage or anything requiring decimal precision. Overall, this is a decent, compact, attractive kitchen scale, and I can recommend it.

I ordered the SNUXOVO Food Scale, 33 lb Digital Kitchen Scale from Amazon, and it shipped to me quickly. Thanks, Amazon, for helping me with my scale-related needs. Completely unrelated to the kitchen scale—or maybe somewhat related, depending on how you look at it—I play quite a bit of pickleball. Part of playing pickleball and tuning my paddle involves weighing it on a scale. I’ve actually been using our kitchen scale for this purpose for quite some time now, and my wife honestly hates it. Apparently, she doesn’t enjoy sweaty, dirty paddle grips touching the same scale we use to measure flour for pizza dough. Lol. So when I saw this kitchen scale that supports up to 33 pounds, I quickly ordered it. My wife was relieved. My pickleball paddles were relieved. Honestly, everybody won here. Opening the box revealed exactly what was advertised. The scale itself looks clean, modern, and well built. One thing worth mentioning, though, is that the product photos make it appear as if batteries are included with the scale. I’m here to tell you they are not. However, before you grab your pitchfork, there’s actually good news: this scale charges via USB-C and has a built-in rechargeable battery. That’s honestly a huge plus in my opinion. Nearly everything in my house already uses USB-C at this point anyway. I’m just not going to tell my wife that I bought another rechargeable gadget. Functionally, the scale works exactly as advertised and offers the same features and measurements as many of the other kitchen scales on the market today. Accuracy seems spot on, and it performs just as well as the two other scales currently living in my kitchen. Whether I’m weighing pizza dough ingredients or making microscopic pickleball paddle adjustments that probably don’t improve my game nearly as much as I think they do, this scale handles it perfectly. The display is bright, easy to read, and responsive. The buttons are straightforward, and the unit switching is simple. No complicated setup, no weird quirks, and no moments where I had to stare at the manual like I was decoding ancient hieroglyphics. Price-wise, you could probably find something cheaper out there, but I’ve always believed you get what you pay for. In this case, you’re getting a solid, rechargeable USB-C kitchen scale with good build quality and reliable performance for only a little more than the cost of basic battery-powered alternatives. For me, the value is absolutely there. As for durability, the kitchen scale I currently own has somehow survived around 15 years of daily use, countless baking sessions, and now apparently pickleball equipment testing. I expect this one to hold up just as well, even if it ends up serving a very different purpose than originally intended. Honestly, this scale may see more pickleball paddles than actual food, and I’m okay with that. Lol. Would I recommend this to others? Absolutely, without hesitation. Whether you need a reliable kitchen scale for cooking, baking, meal prep, or secretly tuning sports equipment while your spouse rolls their eyes in the background, this scale gets the job done. This is definitely a win in my book.

This is a very nice and extremely useful digital kitchen scale. I like that you can recharge it via USB-C cable or use the install installed AAA batteries as a backup if you failed to charge it. The scale also let you know when your battery power is running low. Overall, I found that the weight is accurate on the scale. I have backyard chickens, and I like to use a food scale to weigh their eggs so I can classify their egg sizes in the cartons. I have some that lay regular large eggs and some that lay jumbo and as you can see from the pictures, there is a significant difference in the weight. The scale is a good value for the money as it is extremely easy to read, and the buttons are very responsive. The scale is a tiny bit larger than my current kitchen scale and it is much heavier and better built than what I used to use. The scale is compatible with weighing food, chicken, eggs, jewelry, or whatever else you need to have weighed. I like it seems to be very accurate, although it does not go down to decimal weights. It’s very easy to choose the unit. Overall, this is a very nice and well built scale and a perfect addition to my kitchen. I love how shiny the silver is and I like that. It is waterproof on top.
